Yes, it can be cranked up to 11. I’ve said for ages the newer unity engines are pretty good.

The option to place your tee anywhere between the markers. The rest of the game is pretty on point as far as the basics of golf go. This sticks out big time for me.

Fine with me> All these people complaining about unity they are improving it all the time from what I’ve seen of EA’s frostbite engine in the golf running at 30 fps it’s not much of an improvement over Unity that runs PGA Tour 2K21 golf at 60. I mean Frostbite is supposed to be the all singing all dancing one of the best engines around for sports games.

2K needs to really make sure their courses are playable. There are far too many courses during MyCareer where one or two poorly placed pins just absolutely blow up scores.

Not wishes, but necessities... Very simple additions that should have been there since TGC:
Fix drops. I'm shocked and concerned that in 2024 we still have to say this.
Show course conditions. They're not viewable during a round and you have 1 chance to see them pre-round on a 2nd menu.

Been thinking about this for a few days. I would really love to have the possibility to put "non-crowd" people in various areas. Heading into a building, sitting at a bench, in golf carts, etc. I think it might add a bit more realism.

Would be a cool idea but let me add, spectators walking around, and golf carts going from tee to green. I know, it will kill performance or some such thing but that would add to a realism look.

People not attached to crowds like a single person maybe walking his dog or birdwatching

Maybe have a deer run across a FW outta nowhere, not generated by the designer, a random server thing. Heck I know it's just a golf game but I still think a 4 hour sun cycle would be cool. Start off a dewey early tee time and have it dry up by the fifth hole. Lots of games have time of day change so it shouldn't be very difficult to implement.

PYS the Japanese baseball game has had people walking in the stands for the past 15 years. Meh.

Just stop oil protesters, getting a good shoe-in as they try to desecrate the 18th green.
