Safe to say your a grinch who hates xmas! That was brutal! 😄
-15 total, way too early to know if it's a good result or not, but I'm beating 2 players I usually don't so let's see.
2nd week of the let's-barely-check-the-greens-before-putting. Overall I liked my putting. 95-64-20%, 3-putts 4%. The miss putts were telling me I'm doing something good. Miss putts rarely looked bad, even from 30-40f with alot of close ones near the cup

First Round was good for me shooting 1 under par.
I practiced the second-round conditions twice just now shooting a 5 over and an 8 under par.
So, I can shoot lower than usual, but can I do it officially on the tour?
The greens and pins are by far easier on the second round, but it is windy.

I am back and struggling mightily! Went out ok (+1) but inward was dreadful (+10). Good to be back and seeing a green course Frans!

Round 1 5 under and flying as I lined up on the 17th tee coming off a run of 4 birdies... ....double bogie followed by a treble!! Ended Even. Bugger  Bit like those 'Mericans in THAT Ryder Cup!! |

Round 2
Bit more of a struggle. 17th pulled my pants down again!! +5 but on my way to a flight at least. 2 rounds to go!

Decided to finish off and absolutely fell to pieces in Round 4.
A reminder of the fact that you just can't bang out TST rounds and expect decent results.
Not ruined my love of the course but it brutalised me!!
The only way is UP!

Round 3: -8
Round 4: +3

1st - Bring a flashlight for rds 3 and 4....at least if you're on Xbox.
2nd - 174 greens in the dark leaves a lot to be desired.

Good first round of even par. Was 1 under with 3 holes to go and limped in with 2 bogies and a double for +3.
Hoping to get back a few in the next 2 rounds 🙏.

I have wonderful memories of the Belfry having been there when Europe won the Ryder Cup in 1985 and 1989. Just as well I had those memories as I was able to call upon them to help find my way in Round Three's gloom. Not very successfully but always a pleasant challenge. At least I managed to keep a four-putt off the card at the third attempt.
