I am forever going to be down in the lower levels. I may have had only 2 perfects during the entire tournament and to be honest I am surprised I never lost it. For some reason I was getting mostly slows even though not all my swings felt the same. That is extremely frustrating.
The only reason I don't shoot worse is because I occasionally get lucky and a bad shot works out. The majority of the time I am playing crap. Such an annoying feeling when you have what you think is a good setup to a shot (distance, club etc) and then you fluff it. I was getting a lot of these off the tee and even some of the shots were carrying under 200 yards. The reason I play is because I have that small bit of hope that I can be competitive on a golf game again. 5 years is too long for me.
Anyway, it is going pretty badly at the moment. Good luck to everyone else.

I really enjoy playing this course. Went -10, -7, -11, -8 for a -36 total. Easily the best result I've had in a promo event (last season, I think I struggled to hang around par for most of them).
Not sure that's going to move me up from CC-C, considering the scores on the leaderboard currently, but hard for me to be upset with that result.

-7 first round and that's probably it for me this time around. Too far behind to have any chance at getting promoted up from kinetic after that effort.

Middle two rounds were probably the best scores this Xbox guy has had in years. Not sure where I'll land but I'm hoping I'll at least be one flight up from CC-D where I currently am.

I struggled the first two events in CC-B, but played really well despite a rage inducing double bogey on a par 5 in round 1.
Round 1: 61 (-10)
Round 2: 59 (-12)
Round 3: 58 (-13)
Round 4: 63 (-8)
Total: -43

First two rounds in. 66 63 -13 at the half-way point. Finished the final two rounds... 67 68 Ended at -20. We'll see if that's enough to move out of CC-Fun. |

Hello. It is remarkable how a slight drop in framerate (from 144 fps to about 130-135) affects my tempo so much in this game. I had this issue from the very beginning and solved it initially by turning down my graphics settings (I'm on PC), but it has gotten worse with the 1.05 patch. I shot -41 in the Q-Event on a course with no trees. Then I missed the cut with -9 on Elite a day after the 1.05 patch came out. My tempo was horrible, with considerable dispersions (grey, close to dark grey, both fasts and slows) and barely any perfects. So I lowered my graphics settings again (mostly object detail), and it looked like I was good to go. However, on holes with heavier planting (and this week's Elite course has a nice mix of holes suitable for troubleshooting), I still have a few issues. Thankfully, the promo event is almost treeless again. My tempo was on point, and I'm hoping that my -57 gets me promoted to Plat. Either way I'm obviously very happy with the result, but having to rely on treeless courses to be competitive is slightly, well... I don't know.  TLDR: If you're on PC and having remarkable tempo issues, you might want to consider lowering your graphics settings, even if the game appears fluid.Cheers and good luck all! Kevin |

In line for 1, maybe 2 demotion marks on CC-E this week... But somehow managed to hit -9, -8, -11 and -7 for a total of -35 in the promo event.
Not sure if I should be happy with that or not!!
