Even par in the first round. Incandescent fury all the way round - robbed at every turn, shots falling way short for no reason, putts stopping on the lip. Went away, had some lunch and then played round 2. Shot -9. Maybe I was just hangry.

I played R3 this morning (-7,-8,-4), currently -19. Currently I am in CC K. I have no idea if this will be good enough to get promoted or not. But I'm going to give it my best shot.

R1: -4 R2: -12 R3: -12 R4: -6 Total: -34 Middle two rounds were probably the best scores this Xbox guy has had in years. Not sure where I'll land but I'm hoping I'll at least be one flight up from CC-D where I currently am. R1: -10 R2: -8 R3: -11 R4: -8 Total: -37 Hope this moves me up from CC-D |

Completely ganked my regular CC-L tour this week. My problem is mostly approach shots and getting out of bunkers. Splash and pitch shots are abominable. So...I changed my archetype from Greensman to Rhythm and changed the fittings on most of my clubs. I might not be driving for distance anymore, but I'm hitting almost all of my fairways and 75+% of my greens. Then went on to win my first MyCareer tournament and posted in the promotion:
Round 1: +1
Round 2: -1
We'll see how all of this pans out.

There’s likely a ton of people that got halfway through the first round and quit. A Kinetic player who is not far under par after 9 holes says forget it and doesn’t finish. Even a lower CC player might be E through 9 and say forget it.

Even a lower CC player might be E through 9 and say forget it. I am CC-L and plan to play all 4 no matter what. Not going to hurt and might move me up a few flights. So far, so good. I shot a +2 and a -4. The scheduler said each round will get a bit tougher, so looking forward to completing the last 2 rounds and hopefully give myself some demotion breathing room! |

Even a lower CC player might be E through 9 and say forget it. I am in kinetic and played the first round in full, but given what I shot there's not much point continuing the rest of it. I made the cut this week and have other society rounds to play as well as some career to get more coin and fittings etc. Only so much time to do all that in a week, especially when the majority of my weekend is taken up with real golf either playing or watching it. |
