I've never really done PC gaming, but now I wish I'd have bought this game for my PC, and then just bought a PS5 DS controller. I haven't played PGA 2k golf since the 2019 version, and am just now getting going with 2k23. It sucks knowing I'm already at a disadvantage. I've been practicing the last couple days a lot, but am still spraying it all over, and Tempo seems really inconsistent. Bummer. Are there different ways/versions to play PGA 2k23 on a PC? Is it all the same, thru STEAM or something? I just wanted to make sure if I go the PC route with a PS5 DS controller, I'm doing it the preferred way/method on a PC. But the Xbox controller has a hardwired refresh rate, so it is the same on Xbox, PC, etc.

Also, does anybody know if I switch to PC from Xbox One, will I have to start all over with PGA 2k23, or will the game be able to somehow pull over any (minimal) progress I've done in the career? All I've pretty much played in PGA 2k23 is the Qualifying 4 rounds for TGCTOURS at the Keg course, and in career I played 1 round of Q School, and 2 rounds of Korn Ferry, so really not much to start over from.

I also wonder if I switch to using PC, will I be able to play PGA 2k23 at home on PC, but also when traveling, will I also be able to play it on my Travel Laptop with my same profile and updated 'stats, career progress, etc.

PC and Xbox are not connected so you'll start from zero on PC.

To get the Dual Sense full features on certain games that support it you have to play wired to your PC. I have tested Death Stranding and it is much better with the Dual Sense 5 than an Xbox controller. The Dual Sense is the best controller I have ever used and I was never a fan of Sony controllers but this one is superb. The answer to your question is you can use the DS5 wired or wireless on PC.

That was not at all my experience when I went from laptop to PC. There are files in 2 different folders on your computer you have to transfer to your new computer if you want everything to look the same. Some things are on line, but fittings and golfer appearance are definitely not.

I play wired to PC as I am terrible at remembering to charge my controllers.

Ok, I just got back from the store with my new PS5 DS controller. Glad I hadn't played PGA 2K3 much yet on the XBOX. Now to figure out how to play this on the PC and get the controller working.

You can move between laptop and PC, but you have to keep moving those files. Sorry!
