Full details below!
If you are going to participate on TGC Tours you will need to switch on the 3rd-Party Data Access option that was just added to the Social menu in PGA TOUR 2K23. If you do not make this change your scores will not be pulled.
Profile Menu > Social > 3rd-Party Data Access > set to ON
Qualifying Event - November 6th-12th
Qualifying Event will be hosted at The KEG Farm and will be a 4-round event.
Society: TGCTours (Special Events)
Note:
- Qualifying Event registration will not open until our site has updated to the new season - this will not happen before November 5th. Once the site is ready, registration will open - we'll blast this news out when it's time
- There is no R1/R2 deadline - all 4 rounds need to be completed before the event ends in-game.
We will fill our tours as follows via this Qualifying Event
Platinum Tour: 45 slots
Elite Tour: 140 slots
Kinetic Tour: 140 slots
CC-A through CC-L: TBD pending participation numbers (130 per flight is the goal but will adjust accordingly)
If you do not earn a tour card from the site-wide Qualifying Event you will be automatically entered into our qualifying pool where you can try to earn a tour card weekly starting Week 2.
Schedule
The first 4 weeks will look as follows
Week 1: Site-wide Qualifying Event (4 rounds only), Beer League & True Sim Tour start
Week 2: First set of normal events, Weekly qualifying starts
Week 3: Normal events, Promotion Event #1
Week 4: Normal events, backfill Challenge Circuit via weekly Qualifying Event (lots of tour cards available)
We will not fill the Pro tours completely via the initial Qualifying Event. There will be some slots left open for the Promotion Event in Week 3. This will give everyone (Platinum Tour excluded) with a tour card another chance to move up should you choose to participate.
Week 4 will see another large batch of tour cards available as we backfill the movement caused by the Promotion Event the previous week.
Our goal is to have a full set of balanced tours going into Week 5.
- Platinum Tour will be reduced to approximately 50 players to start and will try to keep to 70 max during the season
- Platinum Tour normal events will have no cut
- During Major events we will hold qualifiers that will fill these fields to 100+ players (there will be cuts on Majors)
- Major Qualifying events will have 50 slots available - all main tour card holders .
- Voluntary Demotions will be available for Platinum Tour members that are struggling during Promotion Event weeks.
- Qualifiers that make it to a Major event cannot get demotion marks - you can earn promotion marks
- Any Qualifier that makes a cut in a major can request a fast track to Platinum by emailing commish@tgctours.com
Other Format Changes
- Beer League will be 3-click only set on Master difficulty.

Other Tours
True Sim Tour
The True Sim Tour is the toughest tour available at TGC Tours. Main feature is the lack of grids on the green. You may play the True Sim Tour alongside one of the Main Tours/Beer League or as your only tour.
To get a TST card you must go to More Tours > True Sim Tour > Join Tour from our main menu on www.tgctours.com

Beer League
The Beer League is for those that like to use the 3-Click swing method. It will have similar settings to the Challenge Circuit on our main tours.
You cannot play on our main tours and the Beer League at the same time.
Currently there is no promotion/demotion within the Beer League but if participation grows we'll look to add this feature by adding a second tour.
To join the Beer League you must edit your TGCT profile and click the check box at the bottom to opt in (see pic below).
