What issue do you have with the splined fence? Is it just a bit lumpy? If so a good technique is get the fuzziest blue circle flatten brush, make it a few feet wide and do individual clicks every 2 yards along the length of the fence, fixes them right up but a bit arduous!

I bought the lidar into my designer because I just love looking at the slopes and designs of good links courses! Silloth has some lovely holes up on the crests of hills and some lovely uses of natural hollows too. The best golf is always forged from good ground rather than manufacturing it!

That’s definitely the challenge, there’s quite a prominent amount of buildings and A LOT of gorse! I’m currently doing a fictional course for a comp and then gotta finish Wentworth, Huntercombe, The Oxfordshire, Swinley out of my WIPs at some point as well as try and port Hayling, Brookline and Mill Ride! Not enough free hours these days!

Not enough free hours these days! I know where your coming from there I’ve stopped designing on my Laptop now as it’s way to slow on this game I’ve still got a couple of Lidar to bring across but the speed of it in the designer puts me off finishing. I’ve got a Lidar of Fulford Golf Club on it mostly done just trees and stuff to putt in and some undergrowth (used to host the Benson & Hedges) years ago and a course from where i lived before I moved to Dundee, Beamish Park Golf Club that needs porting over. Got two on the go on my series x a fictional delta themed course and a recreation of Ross’s asyoudo64 home course in Tasmania it’s only a 9 hole though but great fun to try and recreate.

Which course would that be ?? Not Bothwell ?? Australia's very first and oldest course where the sheep and cooooos still roam the fairways. Outside of Scotland it is said to be one of the oldest continually used golf courses in the World and is thought to be the oldest golf course in the southern hemisphere. It is located on a farm which was established in 1822.

I spent 4 weeks camping around Scotland back in the early naughties. My favourite place on earth (apart from the Melbourne Sandbelt !!). I'd go back in a heartbeat. My inlaws have family from the Orkneys and was fortunate to visit. Couldn't understand a bloody word they were saying.

For me there are 4 meccas of golf globally; Fife, Scotland Melbourne Sandbelt Surrey / Berkshire Heath Long Island, NY A holiday to either of them and you’ll be playing world class golf
