Dumbarnie imported at close to 50% in 2k23 before you added anything and really you can see why with the amount of terrain there really is a shame whatever happened in 2k23 that links terrain and importing went really higher than previous games but the upside is how good the 2022 data is (Flatter Courses lower imports).i also feel the 7000 yard tees are the better set up there than the extended championship ones especially on the higher setting in the game perfect course for Legend setting. The 14th when i first designed it placed water there, then i watched 3 separate blogs there was no water in there.i am not sure if its a gulley for water to go if there is heavy rain or when the blogs were filmed just no water in there, the "flowerbed Planters" i have no idea what there for only thing i can think of is to stop water overflowing.I found the Water so hard to design because of how it dropped all round the course lucky its only in certain places you can see it like the 7th in below video. If you watch the below video nothing added and water there at the 14th in pre release video, you notice so many things which could be improved and changed. Can't Find no Lidar data for the french or the irish Course.

I've played and favorited them all so they shouldn't be too hard to find but didn't your teachers ever tell you not to write in red man? My eyes sting lol.
Regarding Dumbarnie, what I meant is in real life I think mid handicappers would appreciate the course more as apposed to low ones or pros. I will have to try one of the medium tee sets and up the difficulty to give the course another perspective. Thanks again for all your polished efforts.

Stellar job with the Formby update. Loved it in 2K21 but with some updated textures this takes it to the next level. Love those holes around 6/7/8/9/10/11/12. Thank you... again !!

...room for at least 2 or 3 more The home of The Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers perhaps ?? Or Hillside. I love Hillside. I remember watching the Cazzo Open (??) several years ago and there was something about Hillside that struck me. I think it was the variation in terrain and vegetation which made it appealing. In that respect a lot like Formby for mine.

PGA 2023 - not LIDAR * Royal Portrush - not LIDAR * Royal Troon - LiDAR used * St. Andrews - LiDAR used * The Grove - LiDAR used * Turnberry (The Ailsa) 23 - not LiDAR Do I have these correct ??

Yes Correct except for troon.
Royal Troon is not Lidar but over 2 months copied the Lidar terrain into the game, going to update soon with the course changes for the 152nd open next year.they have added a few bunkers and some extra length to the front nine.
Same with Turnberry there is only lidar for the first 6 holes and last 2 Holes, but again like above Copied the terrain which was there as best as i could considering both courses were from TGC1.In the Future hoping for some new data for Troon,Turnberry,Carnoustie,Birkdale and Musselborough so the collection can really be finished.Going Forward i cannot see me getting the game on the new consoles and to be honest i prefer 100% terrain than the extra fluff you can add without lidar saying that Royal Portrush was also changed alot since first published in tgc2 with the actual Open Players guide from there.

Not Really i gave the designer advice how to do it non lidar start with a common set point etc did not know at the time he was designing Lytham, same designer also designed Royal Liverpool in the past on ps4/5.
Interesting note on my version of Lytham its the only course from 2k21 into 2k23 which went lower on the meter, I am assuming its because its very flat did help through with the adding of houses (which you really need there) and even the railway even through you never see it (less sleepers).

Sorry to be a pain Dave but are you likely to port Rye and Cinque Ports over in the future? Really miss playing them!

I'll see what i can do with Rye it's another at 99% and not finished really, but if you want it in game ill see this week if i can get it in game.Looking at it i should have masked out the other course there when i did it a few years ok,sometimes i never learn. Royal Cinque Ports another designer did a Lidar version, plus the course has changed a little since i last designed it ill see if google earth had updated yet one big change they made the 18th green a lot bigger.I do agree with you 2 of the best links in the country RCP(Deal) so good a course. Link below from swingsense review for the simulator tgc2019 i do wish the Sim would get updated. swingsense.com/rye-golf-club-old-lidar/The 4th at Rye one of the best 500 Golf holes in the world.

Sorry to be a pain Dave but are you likely to port Rye and Cinque Ports over in the future? Really miss playing them! I'd love to see Rye as well. It has lots of character. And you did a terrific job on it in 2K21 (as usual). While you're there can you do the Jubilee as well? It's got some nice holes.

They’re both great courses, have played RCP, RSG and Princes loads in real life, that’s arguably the best golf trip in coastal England! Although the north west would argue as would Cornwall!. Hunstanton is the other one of yours I miss! I’m only doing research for a fictional course I’m doing for a comp so will fire up 2k21 to play them. I’m basically doing a links course that focuses mainly on ground game and angles with lots of mounding and sloping so those two courses have some excellent knoll and punchbowl style greens and intentional blindness too
