My scores for this event were dropped from the leaderboard sometime after Tuesday. I had finished my rounds Friday, but had not really checked the site until today. Anyone else experience the same thing? I didn’t play until later in the week because I thought it stated that you didn’t have to , but like you , my scores didn’t show up at all.

Looks like the tournament may have ended in the middle of the week, not on Saturday like it should have.

63 first round this week as well, including a hole in one at the third. Wasn't going too badly at -5 after 9 holes and then the tempo decided to go bonkers. I had about 3 or 4 red fasts out of nowhere that didn't feel to me anything like that fast, and every one of them cost strokes.
I don't know if it's because pro difficulty is that much easier or what but I rarely ever felt like I had no control over it on that difficulty. On master it feels like every second round it just does whatever it wants for a period...and that's on PS. I hope they've fixed it for the next game.

Event 2
Green grids OFF
E +5 +4 +7 (8 bogeys/1 birdie) = +16
Pretty much what I expected considering Masters swing, the course, and green grids OFF.
Rds 3/4 it felt like I had a lot of red slows, red very slows.

Based off the current scores for the 1st event, I'd say Xbox is still at a significant disadvantage to Playstation. lol Nothings changed on Xbox at all and I can’t see HB doing anything about it with the new game. I do hope TGC decide to have another beer league society for us xboxers.

Really enjoying these exhibition Events. I had forgotten how much I loved playing the matches on the tours. thank you for putting them up!
through round 2 of match #2. Started on time this one, so will be able to finish it this week. Doing much better now that I settled down, actually got a couple birdies and +3 average per round is way better than +11!
Hopeful that the next game will still be this fun, maybe even better, and I can get back into more of this.

Interested to play Evangelist on Master for probably the 1st time since the early Qualifying event where I followed a decent-10 on whichever Whisky course we played with a devastating +22. 2 years on I thought things were very much the same with those old internal feelings of anger & frustration rising at my greed/stupidity with some shots, as well as the (at times) course’ ability to punish every little mistimed shot = +10 first rnd. Onwards. Determined to rally & post a better score this time around , I soldiered on with (despite some ridiculously stupid decisions) E , -1 , -1 for a pretty ropey but 14 shots improved , +8. I’ve improved by about , on average ,1 shot roughly every 52 days🤣🤣 Not sure what wonders the new version will bring but more rapid improvement would be a start !!

I don't think I'll play the final two rounds after that bloody fiasco. At least six random red fasts from normal FN swings resulted in one bogey, two doubles and one quad. For as far into the red as they were it should have felt like I slammed the stick forward. Not worth playing when I don't even know where I'm gonna end up.
Might try the tst one and see if that's any better instead.

What a difference a week makes. I shot -31 for at Evangelist. (Was this a Q school course years ago?) The greens were much more forgiving and no very high winds. I actually am now remembering what I loved (and hated) about Master swing setting, which was you have to keep your concentration up on every shot as the bad swings are severely penalized and double bogeys happen quickly. I still see the top players having no issues and shooting -50+, so why don't they play on Legend to give them more of a challenge?

Doyley said over on the TGC Discord that he unfortunately forgot to take off the R1/R2 deadline for the first event and that it has been corrected for the rest of the events.

As much as I wish the game was more challenging, I'm not enjoying Master at all. +4 on my second round with 18 red fasts and 12 grey fasts. Attempting to slow my swing either had zero effect or resulted in red slows. I'm currently in Kinetic on the Pro tour so I can't be that terrible at the game, but either this mode is exposing my awful tempo which Pro seems to completely forgive, or my controller isn't working very well. I don't even have the Xbox excuse as I'm playing on PS4. All I know is that it feels almost entirely random - I started trying to 'call' my tempo after hitting each shot was almost never right - quite often saying "That felt a little slow" and then seeing the red fast result. My scores may be more realistic but when they're the result of what feels like random chance there's no fun to be had.
Sulk over!

Honestly I feel more confident standing over a shot on a Saturday arvo in my club comp than I do on this master difficulty. Not only that, I usually have a fair idea what I've stuffed up in the swing if I do hit it off line or make bad contact. Last week wasn't too bad but this week it definitely feels like a lottery.

Don't worry you 2 no doubt it will be back on pro difficulty where we can or most of us can turn back into robots and focus on boring target golf but hey hold on the short game may be a little harder what I think tgc perhaps should do is perhaps have a month of testing on the 2 difficultys when the game comes out as it sounds like its all been tweaked , then arrange the Q school.

They probably will do that, but I'd rather play boring target golf than sit there frustrated the whole time making decent swings and getting punished for it because the stupid game glitches and sends it off into the trees or water or whatever. I'm all for it being more challenging than pro, but a lottery isn't that. Maybe it's just this particular course because I played some tst earlier and had no trouble with glitchy tempo. It was challenging but actually felt like I could control it, like it should be.
