Dear TST enthusiasts,
For our final week of preparation for THE Open, we travel to Scotland and play Royal Dornoch.
Royal Dornoch is currently ranked 3rd best golf course in the world by Golf Digest.
Rain throughout the week has softened the fairways and greens, and on Thursday a glorious sunshine turns it into a perfect scoring day.
As the week progresses, the wind gets up and starts changing direction and, consequently, fairways and greens dry out and firm up.

Back in Snead and deservedly so as this week's pathetic attempt only proves. In a TST rut, not getting any breaks, but simply love playing these courses.
Roll on next week. Onward as Golden Balls says....

I'm not one to complain about courses or conditions, but hole 2, round 2 is something usually only seen in that wasteland that is Platinum.. I've got to hope others experience what I did or I'll be looking at my first demo marks..

After a poor final round last week,started off well with a birdie on the first hole.Grabbed two more birdies on the front nine 😃.
Had a very lucky birdie on hole thirteen when i pulled my putt from severn feet from the hole 😏.
Missed a few longish putts for birdies,but still well pleased with my minus severn first round and not seeing the bogeyman yet 😂.

My tee shot trickled up to 2-3 feet right of the hole, then back off the green. 3 chips and a putt left me with a db. |

I'm heading to the UK for about 7 weeks. I doubt I'll be participating in future events this season.

-8 first round this week, few missed opportunities but not bad overall. I'll find out about this second hole situation tomorrow 😬

Got away with a bogey on the second hole which is the hardest hole on the course.Bogeyman got me again on the next hole 😕.
Birdie on hole four then back to normal with back to back bogeys 😠.
Lucky eagle on the ninth hole to get me to one over par for the front nine 😃.
Three straight birdies and a birdie on seventeen to get to minus three for the round 😀.
Had a few unlucky putts but hopefully no more hard hole locations 😁.

Okay, so 1) I managed to get my hands on a PS5 yesterday, so, obviously, 2) I jumped right in without any practice or calibrating or any of that nonsense and 3) enjoyed my first two rounds without polling points a lot, and 4) birdied hole 2 in round 2…
Round 1: -14
Round 2: -12
