Got the Super Licence. Spent my last few credits on a couple of second hand cars. Can't be arsed with hours and hours of grinding to get the more expensive cars so I'll probably put this to one side and wait and see what happens. Shame really because there's a lot I like about the game. Not overly impressed with the developers response. This wasn't touted or priced as an Early Access product so I'm not sure why gamers should be asked to be patient and wait for content which in my opinion should have been there on release. Ah well, more time for golf!
Back to looking forward to the Forza Horizon 5 expansion.

I had planned last night, was to look at what track and PP I was going to set up and let you all know so you'll be able to the car of your choice ready, but the PD cock up happened, so like all of you I didn't get online and I would of liked to give you a chance to get your cars race ready. I still want to go Brew Crew Racing, but I think that it would be best to wait until next Saturday and hopefully the mess will of been done and dusted.
Was thinking of a 7.00 am UK time start if anyone is still playing the game.
Will post the track and settings Wednesday or Thursday

After reading some stuff about the updates, they have said that credit payouts and been slashed.
The most profitable races, the Dirt Champions trio at Fisherman’s Ranch, Sardenga Windmills, the first-place prize of 65,000 credits has dropped to just 30,000. The Clubman Cup Plus at Goodwood is now just 12,000 credits, down from 35,000. As some examples... A stealth way to get people to micro-transactions...

And I can't be arsed to grind and I'm not paying hard cash for something I've already bought. Has the makings of a great game but has obviously been rushed and is unfinished and probably shouldn't have been released. For me the grind to get the good cars is not worth the effort. Just spent £700 on a PS5 and a few extras including GT7... Got mine Thursday so had the long delay before I could actually play it 😭
Love the game, not bothered about paying real cash for credits and am happy to just play for enjoyment

Give us a shout when Kaz finishes his game and I may get back on board.[/quote] I've found the arcade race are more fun than the Menu chase the rabbits, still a rolling start, but you start about a cars length from the car in front and you can see the leader, not starting some 30 seconds or so behind and there's 3 levels of difficulty to choose from. The moneys not brilliant , but the racing more enjoyable. And looking more into the Sport mode with the Daily's I'm not worried about collecting every car in the game, I'm more in to racing and buy the cars that I like the look of and need for certain races . Everyone plays different. No doubt I'll end up getting most of the cars, but I won't pay though the nose with the micro transactions. It'll cost about £180 to buy the McLaren F1 or the Porsche 917 , I'll just go with what ever I can afford in the game . |
