Ok i'm sorry but I cannot speak about Golf first, btw any Man Utd fans here?  Good game wasn't it? Ok i'll behave, back to my woeful golf I guess, well it started well enough, joined Nath in a party, both loaded up hole 1, he found my live ghost, added me to his group, I unfortunately couldn't find any ghosts, let alone his live ghost, and when I did add him eventually I got the old 'HB-RS 1706' error code, long story short 30mins later, full reset of router, ps on/off 3 times, 4 holes later I found his live ghost, WOO HOO.  Didn't help my golf mind you, rd1 was ok, kept missing blooming 5 footers, must have been a sign (whoops sorry back to golf) no I did though, i'm the greatest putter, no really I am then the final 4-5 holes of rd2 and all of rd 3 I couldn't for the life of me find a swing tempo, it was like it just up and left (like most at Old Trafford) , but no seriously I really struggled, but hey ho, played 2 Bogey free rds though so there is a plus  Rd1:-10 Pars, 8 Birds, Bogey Free = 64 (-8) Rd2:-10 Pars, 5 Birds, 1 Eagle, 2 Bogeys = 67 (-5) Rd3:-11 Pars, 6 Birds, 1 Bogey = 67 (-5) Rd4:-12 Pars, 6 Birds, Bogey Free = 66 (-6) Event:-43 Pars, 25 Birds, 1 Eagle, 3 Bogeys = 264 (-24) (1 shot better than last week Improvement at least ) Good Luck all, play well MAN UTD 0-5 LIVERPOOL |

First two rounds I played solid but still managed to throw in a bogey and miss a few easy putts. -11 & -11 for -22 halfway So I'm not too far behind you skill wise then Frans. I also threw in a bogey(s) and missed a few easy putts  To be fair I had a practice round with grids on and still couldn't get -11!! The way you top lads play this format has me in awe. Watch Colby on Twitch…..He plays very well on True Sim and tells you about each shot and then why he missed a particular shot…..I learned a lot watching him with regards to True Sim. I’m fairly good tee to green but the putting is what destroys my card. But the top players make it so easy….lol, they are good…. |

Was not looking forward to this course in TST mode after a practice round last night...a lot of front to back sloping greens so was thinking the putter is going to need to be red hot.
It wasn't in Rd1 and a -7 but was all but "in the zone" in Rd's 2 and 3 with 2 x -13's. Some great putts in there, a bit of luck but played awesome. So much so I couldn't move out of my chair to even get a drink, I didn't want to disrupt the zone.
Blinded by the light to start Rd4....4 straight pars but had a purple patch mid-round and then flopped in on 16 to be -11 on the round. Stupid hook off the tee on 18 but still had an 8 footer for birdie which ended up a 3 putt bogey after smashing my return putt into the lip from only 3 feet.
-43 total and had a few silly mistakes which may cost me a top 5. Anyway, happy in hindsight.

Had my first two under-par rounds on True Sim this morning, finished -4 for the two rounds overall. Frustratingly, putted pretty well both rounds, but missed a handful of short ones on the back nine of round two.
This is my first venture around in TGC (in CC-I right now), and love the competition and courses. But True Sim is the most fun I have playing every week.

Just finished all four rounds in what started as a very fun session, but then devolved into the most frustrating putting experience I've ever had!
I finished up with 91% GIRs, a 24 ft proximity, and only -26 overall. My one putt percentage was 38%. I only hit 7% of putts greater than 10 ft. I could not read a green worth a damn, and finished things off by missing a 6 footer on 18 in R4. Gotta love TrueSim!
Should make the cut though, was -8 and -8 for -16 at the halfway mark. Went -6 and -4 on the weekend.

-4 +3 = -1 after two. I was -7 standing on the 16th tee in round 2. Took a 10 on the gimmicky arcade hole. Tourney over. Just a little steamed right now.

I think I might make my first cut in TST! Am holding my breath... "Shouting the bar" if it comes to pass. What's even more appealing is that I think I might still make it... but only just... even if the cut line was 65 + ties. |

I don't find it so bad on PC but it's certainly worth a trial run if you want to use those times of day. Been bitten a couple of times using them in The Brew Crew! |
