Hi all, Just finished my 2nd course, The Mingo (now TGC Tour approved!). Please give it a play if you get a chance. Would really love to get some feedback from a player standpoint and a designer standpoint. I spent more time on this one than I dare to admit. Like to gamble? The Mingo offers all the "risk-reward" you would expect from a Las Vegas style golf course. With 3 sets of tees and 4 pin locations, this 18-hole championship course plays just under 6,800 yards. Don't let the shorter yardage fool you, there's plenty of trouble waiting to bankrupt you on arrant tee shots. You'll want to avoid the sand, water hazards, and scrubland if you hope to win big. Do you cash out? Or do you go for the jackpot!?!? Enjoy! Thanks, Derek Sherburne

Red-fast off the first tee is now way to start a round! There was certainly a lot of risk/reward out there and I took it on every chance I got. Got a bit of a birdie blitz going midway through the front 9. Oh so close on 13. The bunker I was in on 16 by the green had a second surface cutting through it and a little more smoothing on the lip. Rolled double zero on 17 when I fasted it into the water and undone all my good work. Made a dogs breakfast of my second drive. The only highlight was the 23 foot bogey putt. Fun course and will be going around again! I love the 'Mingo in the lake i.imgur.com/wMNPtsL.jpg, but it would have been great to bring it more into play, may be hit the 18th over him.

Thanks for the play! You had a really good stretch going on the front 9. Very nice round. -8 is the best I have been able to do! Digging the yellow and green outfit btw. A few risks for your tee shots if you happen to play again: Try to clear the bunker on #10, the trees on #16, and the water on #18. All make for shorter approaches to the greens (plus you get a better look at the Mingo on 18!).

I may know someone who knows a thing or two about dropping a flamingo in the middle of a pond ... Eager to check this one out tonight.

I swear I created my floating flamingo before realizing that you had already done that on The Flamingo (beautiful course BTW). I even avoided including my flamingo in my course screenshot to avoid accusations of plagiarism! Haha. You played very well. Looks like you guys had some fun. That's all I can ask for!

The question is, which course is "goodr", The Mingo, or The Flamingo?
