Another week and a half and not a peep from anyone in CC-A. I'm hopeful that a new version of the game will allow a re-shuffle and some new competitive banter. Very enjoyable course this week with the one hole exception where you had to shoot the ball through the clown's nose. (Rock tunnel). I hit that damn thing three times, so no free game for me! CC-C here. Just crashing your party. Went over the rock tunnel with perfects 3 out of 4 times. Other time missed perfect, hit rock and had to play around it!! Not a fan of the hole, would seem more fitting in the crazy golf on the beachfront at Clacton.

Just qualified last week and was lucky enough to be placed into CC-A, so far it is a pretty fun tourney, lots of opportunities for aggressive scoring and overall really like the set up of the Tour.

Missed the cut by one stroke! I can't tell you how many times that has happened over the years. It really is impressive how many new players come into TGC and just tear it up shooting 55-58's for 4 rounds. My "swing" just isn't consistent enough over 18 holes let alone four rounds. Guess I'll have to keep my day job!

I know how you feel Dave. This game is very similar to real life, in that it is very hard to play great for a whole 4 rounds of golf. I have a great day here and there, but it can only take 1 hole to put you on tilt.

Finally put two decent rounds together to get to -27 at the halfway mark. I really could have been 4-6 shots lower, but I was choking coming in the last 4-5 holes with all pars both days. Funny how we all have a comfort zone score, like real golf, and when we get below that, the nerves kick in. I’m blown away at the new players coming into TGC Tours and tearing it up with incredible scoring. The overall level of play is higher than ever.

Ugh.....my swing was off just enough so my 3-8' birdie putts the 1st two rounds became 18-24' birdie putts and every one was on a slope. 63, 65 will drop me well down the leaderboard, but all in all a very solid tournament and enjoyable course. IF....I can ever put 4 rounds together, I think I can win, but all has to go right. I'm sure I'll figure this game out right before they release a new version of the game and we all have to learn the swing over again and/or re-qualify. Lol.

Four really good rounds is really tough, I really should have taken a practice round before the tourney this week as I only managed a -7 the first round, then I finished the last three rounds with a -39.

Yeah that practice round generally reveals a few little traps on the course. Eg. Can my drive really clear that water. That splash is like death calling sometimes... just sinks you 3 foot into the lounge. Lol

Crazy how good the play is this year in CC-A. My average score is just over 60 and I've only finished in the top 40 four times out of 35 events. I feel like I'm getting better, but so is everyone else! Lol. So many new players coming in and just tearing up the game. For those of us who have stayed on the same tour all year (me for 2 years+), it would be great to have a money list that only showed players currently in the tour you are in. And some sort of season ending tournament based on season money leaders in the tour.

Averaged -12 this week for 4 rounds and didn't even sniff a promotion mark. Is there an echo in here?

Right behind you - would have been the same score as you if I hadn't ridiculously bogeyed the easy 18th on both the 3rd and 4th rounds. I was surprised to be so low on the leaderboard after the first 2 rounds as well, but then pleasantly surprised that the same form lifted me up a bit later on.

Craig Henderson Craig / Hendomedes with a strong -18 out to an early lead. Fresh off a win in CC B, Craig is hoping to get back to the Platinum Tour, where he was earlier this season. Craig gave up his Platinum tour card by joining the Beer League for two events where he finished 1st and 2nd. Craig is also one of the True Sim Tour players, so playing CC level courses with tame greens must be like shooting fish in a barrel to Craig.

If you're implying I'm purposefully sandbagging or something (god knows why I would want to) the reason I left platinum was because my dad was suffering from cancer and passed away and I didn't have the motivation to play. Joined beer league to free up a space in Platinum because the tours are thriving. Then when no new game was on the horizon and things calmed down at home following my dad's passing I thought I may as well get back into it and the community. If I've misunderstood and you're simply giving me some sort of WWE bio piece, ignore me
