Yeah its silly isn't it. Really isn't too much to ask for what the site provides. Times are especially hard at the moment but I shall slip another small donation towards the target on pay day to help with the final push. Bring back automated payments for next season please. Me too. I can spare some come payday.  |

Recurring Donations has been implemented - should be pretty self explanatory once you get to the donation page. Will send out an email shortly with some details but thought you guys following this thread should be the first to know. As always, thanks for all donations - helps keep the site and tours alive!

Couple of updates that happened - we've added a few links and tables to the donation page - tracking all seasonal donors, most recent donations as well as all-time donors from as far back as we could go (back from the paypal days).
Please keep in mind that when we used PayPal there was nothing linking your donations to your TGCT profile other than an optional forum handle field that you could fill out or a possible matching email with paypal/tgct. Some may have donated previously via PayPal but we weren't able to draw a line to your TGCT profile carry over your donation amounts for these tables.
Think this is much improved. As you can now plainly see - we're close to hitting our goal for this current season. Thanks so much and you can rest easy knowing that we're not going anywhere for the foreseeable future. The site is in a good place - the donation system is in place, is more visible and should keep the site afloat for as long as you can stand us!

I'm one of the ones whose Paypal contributions aren't there, but hey ho. Good to see this place looking so healthy, now all we need is a game that plays more closely across the platforms. I haven't given up hope...

Well that escalated quickly. Smashed through the target with the added visibility on the main site! 👏 Our plan is to leave it where it is for a couple of weeks so everyone that visits will know we run on donations and then eventually tuck it a bit further down the main page.
We're discussing some plans on what we can do with the donations beyond our seasonal goal - which we stated would go into further development/features. We'll get those ideas fleshed out and then present them soon.
Great showing of support from the community - thanks from all of us at TGC Tours!

I have no idea what is available behind the scenes, but is the $5 minimum able to be lowered somehow for recurring donations? Giving a buck or two weekly or even monthly seems like a decent option for some members wanting to use regular donations who can afford a different amount than others. |

I really don't mind seeing the donation banner as large and up front as it is. Donations are vital to the site's survival and giving us continued enjoyment. I think having the donation banner front and center gives us a better chance to bring in new donations as well as reminding users that there are real people spending serious dollars to provide us with this incredible platform that is TGC Tours. |

Just an FYI - for those that chose the recurring donation option - we had a slight issue with the recurring portion of it that is now fixed. It's likely if you had a previous recurring donation skipped (the first one always worked) it was sent in today - should return to the normal schedule you set up for the next one. Apologies for the slight error.
