If you are a recurring donor to TGC Tours - please check your emails for an update - we need you to cancel those recurring donations via your PayPal account. We have an updated donation link here that went live today: www.tgctours.com/Player/Donations

Scott, do you know if the possibility of recurring donations will be made available in the future? I personally found that system ideal.

I wonder if you will be adding PayPal as an option rather than just credit card numbers with cvc codes? Sites can be hacked and don't prefer that information floating about. I do most all transactions via paypal.

I do most all transactions via paypal. Good point. My preference nowadays is also to use Paypal which is what my recurring payment was set up on.

Just to clarify, we're not storing any credit card numbers on the site. Everything is directly processed by Stripe. Stripe is just as secure as PayPal, in my opinion.
Not saying we won't integrate PayPal again or recurring payments in the future, but all of that takes development time we don't have unless we exceed our stated donation goal.

Will investigate that Jeff. I had already made a one time donation recently.. but had considered monthly but still prefer PayPal as it gives me statements on where and what my money is spent on for tax purposes.

I've donated slightly over the average amount that's been stumped up so far. I was a gold donation subscriber but I'm happy to repeat this process as often as necessary in the future.

Verified with hubby who works in E commerce and says Stripe is very safe and secure to use. So all good start donating Folks 😎😊

Just chipped in a couple of bucks.
If anyone who streams their games and has some organizational skills would like to have a dedicated Donation Day on Twitch, I’d be happy to be a part of it.
The link is easy to include in a chatbot for people to contribute.

Donated to the greenskeepers fund earlier this month (old system) to combat those pesky red fire ants invading the greens; donating again now. I don't know how many active players this site has (1500? 2000?) and I don't want to come off as telling people how to spend their money, but if everyone could somehow find a way to make a one-time (yearly) donation of $5 that would go a long way toward achieving the goal. Looking forward to missing cuts again in CC ... if I make it through qualifying.

Hi guys, I was so happy w/ the new updates that I wanted to finally pay my dues, but had trouble finding the new donate tool. Turns out, the section on /Player/Donations that contains "Donations" and "Our Expenses" fails to load sometimes... looks like the `<script src="https://js.stripe.com/v3/" type="text/javascript"></script>` tag isn't getting included on page load sometimes, causing the initializeStripe function to to fail.

FYI, Doyley it looks like your canonicals are causing some trouble for the new donations page—https://www.tgctours.com/Player/Donations works great, however, in the menu above (on proboards not the website proper) it links to a non-www versions of that URL (https://tgctours.com/Player/Donations) and the payment processing snippet is not showing up. Also, are you guys still adding the donor ribbons to profile banners? Cheers!

Yes, we are looking to add ribbons - it's top of the list on the to-do list. Hopefully recurring donations makes the cut too. No specific eta yet, but hopefully soon!
