I am an xboxer and even so, Pro is too easy (for me) because the windows are large. I think they're way over double master possibly 3x but that's from memory and would have to double check that so don't quote me on that haha. The grey zones are quite large too so hitting a bad shot that actually penalises you is actually quite difficult IMO. -------------- I'm interested how you are playing on XBox. I use a Series S with a wired connection SX controller. Do you have just the distinct polling points around the Perfect zone? I've spent time monitoring the distribution of my tempo outcomes and I certainly do. In my experience, the window size for Perfect is irrelevant between Perfect and Masters (subject to correct calibration) as I only have one "12 o'clock" polling point outcome. It is the tempo misses that make Masters painful vs Pro. Those windows are so small on Masters that my "11:30" and "12:30" polling points are not Grey misses. It is the harsh penalty for those misses that makes Masters too frustrating for me. However, with the right clubs, I do get Grey Fast & Slow misses on Pro. This gives me a more satisfactory distribution of misses (like a Pro) rather than the good or hacker outcome from Masters. Where the cross platform unfairness seems to come from is they seem to get that nice distribution of misses on Masters. Of course, I'm ignoring the other nonsense that randomly impacts tempo which seems to afflict all platforms and makes us all rage!

I had given the tours a chance last year and quickly dropped to the Beer League as an Xbox player.
How/when/where do I change my setting back to try the CC again with the new settings? Thanks.

Played an exhibition round on CC-Tour, here's my thoughts,
- Driving/iron shots are now way too easy. The higher level tours (PGA and European) should stick with Master and CC-Tour somewhere between Pro and Master if it's possible.
- If they want putting grid on for CC-Tours then the speed should be faster than the PGA/European tours.
My round I shot -9 and I played fairly fast. You have other scores close to -20, this shouldn't really be happening. I would love mine to be even par (0) to maybe -3 on average and the best players maybe getting down to -15 on easy courses? It's tough to do though.

Well if you only got a -9 these new settings should be good for you. But if you still think it's to easy there are plenty of master level societies to join, or the TST.

Finished -19
Driving is quite a bit easier, but I’d rather play golf instead of thumb swing

I got -9 without trying too hard, that was kind of the point. I've tried joining other Societies too and it's hard to find one (on PC) that have a lot of people playing. I even made a topic about it. I'm just giving my feedback, you don't have to agree with it. By reading the comments I think a lot of people wish there was something between Master and Pro for the swing difficulty.

Will the CC courses be a little more challenging now with the pro swing?

TST is a good suggestion if you don't already play it.

Will the CC courses be a little more challenging now with the pro swing? You're a Platinum player Erik, thought you'd be more concerned how they would make Platinum challenging?! What is challenging for you (Platinum player) and what is challenging for me (CC player) are two different things entirely

What is challenging for you (Platinum player) and what is challenging for me (CC player) are two different things entirely I do play platinum but I also play a society where you play the CC courses. Platinum is more or less dead now for me since it used to be about who is the best player and now it isn't but this change might make CC funnier to play. I fully understand the usual course choices and conditions for CC but this change should give the CC players a chance to play more challenging and fun courses.

How is Platinum no longer about who is the best player? Yes, things may well be closer but you’d still think the best players, those that make least errors, will still be the best. As for CC courses the scheduler has the unenviable task of selecting a course to cover the varying skill levels of 12 divisions of players. They’re unlikely to challenge Platinum level players but I hope you have fun playing them nonetheless.

You don't agree that the change to pro gives the course scheduler more choices?
