For the first time we have a tour that will allow the Distance Control Meter (aka swing meter) to be on. The Beer League will run at the settings we've had the past couple of seasons with the option to turn on the swing meter.
If you are playing on the Main Tours - please make sure you adjust your Distance Info Position to "In HUD" - this is the only way you'll get any elevation information with our new settings. Tell your friends, remind your family members - spread the word!

Was just getting the info page pulled up for a friend who showed interest when I saw the settings changed on them. Looking forward to the next season and seeing what CC-D is going to look like.

What does scout camera ui off mean exactly? That means you won't have any information on the marker like distance / elevation - but will still be able to scout landing zone. |

My only question/concern is regarding having the lie grid turned off. I know there are quite a few times I've noticed the lie grid is showing elevation change either at my feet or ball position but just by looking at the screen I couldn't actually tell that it was there. I dont think this will happen a crazy frequent amount but I can see this possibly being an issue on some of the harder platinum courses that have a lot of undulation and it could cause people to miss subtle lie issues that just aren't able to be seen without the grid leading to poor shots. Is this something that was thought of/discussed? Thanks in advanced

Is this something that was thought of/discussed? Thanks in advanced The idea, I believe, is that there was a desire to have some slight differences between Pro tours and CC tours. The wind indicator and lie grid seem to be the spots that made sense for there to be differentiation. The Pro tours then end up being slightly more challenging than the CC tours. |
