I'll send out a mass email too prior to start of season - once I know the start date...and it'll be in one of those geocities flashing gifs so you can't miss it!

Why not have every event unique in each tour. Some weeks use yardage books only. Some weeks no scout cam.. some no lie or green grid. I think that would make the game very enjoyable.Heck, even have an event with master or legend swing once in a while.keep us guessing

Plus I have my thumb ready for the fast forward key after every shot. Real time play feels too much like slow motion. Haha we seem to have a lot in common! On the topic: I'm enjoying the new setup so far. Looking forward to the new season! All this conversation you guys had on playing TST quickly may have changed my way of playing. lol! I qas analysing the greens from all angles for 5 minutes to shoot in the wrong direction half the time. I played a round earlier in single-rounder TST society and was horrible. -1 New tourny was here after 8, and I changed something. Approach/putt cam was not even activated. I played it exaclty like there's a green grid. -9!!! I gotta say I'm now putting from the ground cam in regular tournament, I think I'm getting better feelings when I see a putt from the same camera angle. Not the first time I think I found the solution for TST, but I'll repeat the exeprience for sure!

And every second post of the message board will need to be "Read the Message of Day!" ;-) It's also in Info, Rules & Policies on the main site. Simple case of read the instruction manual before you send it back because it doesn't work. We're predominantly men. Since when do we read instruction manuals!

Really looking forward to the new season, it will be my first full season, played the last 2 events of last season. I have a question regarding promotion / demotion and just wanting to understand how it works. In the Info, Rules, Policies section it lists the following: Above double promotion line = +2 movement marks Above single promotion line = +1 movement mark Below single demotion line = -1 movement mark Below double demotion line = -2 movement marks How are these "lines" calculated ? Are these lines based on the scores in the tier above where you currently play and if you shoot higher than those lines, then you get a promotion mark ? I feel its probably more complicated than that and maybe difficult to answer, but just thought Id ask

Top 7.5% get +2 marks, top 15% gets +1 mark, vice versa for the bottom.

However I took a look at some of the results from last season and it doesn't seem to work out according to those %'s. First one I looked at I saw -28 and better got 2 marks, -27 and -25 got 1 mark, but another player at -25 got 2 marks. Similar with demotions, it was a bit mixed. Anyhow, its nothing major, just trying to understand the system.

If you have a demo mark and make the cut - you essentially get 1 Promo mark (which removes the demo) - and then, if you place in the top 7.5% - you get another 2 promo marks.. So the leaderboard will show that you received 3 total promo marks.. Works the same on the bottom - have a promo, miss cut - lose the promo, finish in bottom 10% and you end up getting 3 demo marks total.

Urgh - Played a practice round on Pro (Xbox One X) and boy was I bored!! Tempo is too easy even despite the issues on Xbox with tempo people say. Master I find very challenging (which I like) but I'd say 50% of the time now since the update, I score worse than +5 and sometimes in the double digits. It's fun for me playing solo here and there on Master but in competition against other platforms that don't have it as hard as Xbox it seems, no thank you! I shall be abstaining from TGCT until a new game drops I think or HB/2K release a difficulty in-between Pro and Master to bridge the gap.

I shall be abstaining from TGCT until a new game drops I think or HB/2K release a difficulty in-between Pro and Master to bridge the gap. Did you play with the additional settings in place? Like removing the on-marker yardage and elevation and having set on the HUD? Or playing without lie grid? Just curious, as simply switching to Pro doesn't paint the whole picture of what TGCT is doing. I was skeptical at first, and I played on Pro basically all the time in my local rounds. But these additional settings help bridge that gap...sure, the perfect tempo might be easier to achieve, but you have to choose the right club and aim spot with a bit less information than you'd normally have. Scores will be super low...that's just the way it's gonna be. But they were already unrealistically low when TGCT used Master. It's now all about actually having a bit of fun while playing, instead of wanting to pull your hair out due to the aggressive punishments that would happen if you didn't nail perfect on Master.
