The plane looks well done but it’s almost the price of a full game these days not an add on so I won’t be buying it until it’s on sale That’s a fair shout Les. I’d like to say I had more money that sense but I’ve not got a lot of either 🤣🤣 You’ve got to spend your money somewhere and I have no problem you spending it on games that take us out of real life for a few hours. If I had the money I used to have I would be doing the same but I need to be more selective on what I spend my money on these days. Edit: I prefer to see the world at a slower pace than 600+ miles per hour 🤣 |

Was going to get FH5 on steam with all the dlc but I’ve decided to just settle for the version included in game pass which will give me the standard version on both pc and Xbox for free (or at least no extra cost!). Everything a bit of a trade off nowadays. First impressions of the Hawk is love at first sight. |

There are 10 carriers available for download 7 US 2 Uk and 1 French £9 odd. I did land on it first with the Cessna I rather doubt you will get the jets down.
They are selectable as a take off point I believe

Been a bit since I've flown. Need to get back into it.
From what I remember of the carriers on pc you needed an extra add on that adds the grab wire things that would hook your landing gear and slow you down. I landed once on a carrier, in the ultralight...upside down lol. They are indeed selectable as take off points though.

First glance at the update and pretty happy here. Find the small change to the HUD showing elevation etc very useful (not sure what settings I have that puts it's there but very helpful to a useless pilot like me!). And a great selection of additional aircraft for free. What's not to like.
Bought the Reno expansion pack also mainly just to get the planes. Worth it for 17 quid in my book.

I've done the Steam part but haven't started MSFS yet as I don't want to commit my computer to the update and not be able to do anything else.
