Lol I have just experienced the on ground version of that. So here I am at JFK. (I like taking off there, busy place) I'm in the Boeing 747. Do all my start up then request taxi clearance. All going fine, I'm slowly moving along, a few other real people there. So I'm losing speed and coming to a near stop. Feeling the pressure because someone is behind me. I over cook the throttle. Plane kind of got away from me. There goes the taxi ribbon thing, oh now I'm crossing a live runway, across some grass then cutting across a taxi way and now heading towards another guy about to take off, and another sitting behind him. I cut all engines, slam on the brakes but I'm moving man. I zip past the guy about to take off behind him, get to a rounded edge of a taxi way and come to a stop on grass beside another runway. I look up there is a guy circling around. And I still had to come back around and get on my runway, which even given my shot across JFK'S runways, I was aiming for the right spot. lol
Slam on the throttle and get out of there with 0 dignity left. I'm on AP now headed towards Atlantic City where I'm sure I'll crash land. lol
I'm going to be on some guys youtube now. lol
That was probably my funniest moment I've had in the game lol

Fun stuff fellas. About 25 hours played and I'm already looking at different HOTAS set ups. Only thing I don't like is my first bush trip bugged and won't show the POI in the nav panel. Do I need to land somewhere in particular to end the first leg? I'm assuming so but can't find it. Also, I'm gonna try out Neofly later. Looks cool.

I tried one bush trip, negotiated the route fine, but came in for landing a bit fast, braked too hard, crashed and failed! I'm not sure I'll bother with them, just use Skypark, have a look at Neofly when I've got time and download flight plans of interest off the web. Just picked up a plan which follows the Trans Siberian Railway!! |

Thanks Les for setting up this page. I've been too busy the last week or so to fire up MSFS, but I'm following the rest of you and your journeys so to speak. I'm in Day 2 of a 4 day weekend so I should be able to get some time in the air finally. I really enjoy this sim and enjoy reading what everyone is posting here. Happy flying!

So I setup Neofly and currently flying my first mission. Took a few tries to get some of the settings set up. Seems very in depth, will take a bit to figure it out. May have shorted myself on gas, we'll see if I end up in the Atlantic 🤣
