****streaker alert**** After about 25 minutes into the Bristol City Giraffe72 - Ajax match, a streaker jumped onto the pitch and completely ruined Ajax’ attempt at scoring goals - in fact, they looked at the wrong goal a few times and still took their shot... Round 2: -8 IGolfBad would you please make sure not to select live ghost while playing and crash somebody’s competitive round - twice - because while I love your company, it ruined any tempo I had and even made the game force my avatar to look at the wrong pins because you were playing a different pin - cost me at least 5 shots... There’s an option to stop that happening Frans. Can’t remember where it is but I switched it ages ago after seeing pixel golf ball trails flashing all over my screen!! |

But sounds to me like you've got the 'add friends' (or whatever it is) option enabled. Essentially, if you've got a live ghost on your screen you've added him, not the other way round. Something like auto-add friends. It says friends who are playing the same course will appear as live ghosts if there is room in the round. Make sure you turn it off. |

Bristol City Giraffe72 - Ajax If one thing has become clear today it’s that the Ajax players are not only Godenzonen but also absolute showboats... only 20 minutes of this match were live on tv today and guess which 20 minutes that was... 😂😂😂  |

I’d like to say that I did play with your ghost today, live or otherwise, but I’m afraid I did no such thing. You were an option on my CC rounds, but I was too intimidated to bring you along. Funny, though, at the completion of all three society rounds played this afternoon, my PS4 also crashed, and I just gave up.  |

Shaking off the first half doldrums from Week 1, and primed for the championship rematch, the Azzurri got off to a flying start in the early run of the match (29 on the front 9). Or at least so they thought. A torrential downpour opened up and led to a handball in the box, giving the Luxembourg side a chance from the spot (2 in the water on the 11th for a triple).

But after that, the Italians refocused and bore down, giving themselves a solid shot at a potential equalizer.

City begin the match in slightly tentative mood after hearing horror stories about the pitch. A bad back pass in the very first minute didn't help, but instead of the wheels falling straight off that seemed to galvanize them in to action. Some beautiful flowing football and clinical finishing got them on the front foot after the early setback, and they really got going when they thought they'd scored the goal of the season...
So close, but at least it left a simple kick in. The manager is pinching himself at this point, fully expecting normal service to be resumed at any moment and passes going astray. But they kept at it, attacked in the right moments and defended well when they needed to. Then in the 12th minute another carefully worked move led to a crossing opportunity, and what do you know, it went straight in!
More good football followed, City full of confidence for a change and pressing home their advantage. Should have known not to get too confident, a ragged 5 minute spell had them scrambling and they took a step backwards. Was it all unraveling in front of Pearson's shell shocked eyes? Another poor pass had him fuming and getting the hair dryer ready, but somehow young Tommy Conway manages to latch on to it, turns on a sixpence and shoots...
What a strike! And it re-energised the team who played out the last few minutes before the drinks break with that free flowing football they'd played previously. The break couldn't have come at a worse time!
First round 61, 1-0 to the City.
That was solid! 3 shots clear at the top of the early CCA leaderboard. I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts. The problem I've got is my margins are so fine. I know I'm just as likely to shoot 81 as 61 on a course like this one. Second round after work tonight...
