Pixel Golf Football - Season Three

Thank you Greg, this has been a great concept that’s been exceptionally run. The season has been a lot of fun, I’ve loved the way everyone has reported on the golf and tied it into all our love of Football.
Sorry I couldn’t do another season, but having gone into Kinetic I don’t have the time for all the rounds required.
I sincerely hope Pixel Golf Football makes a return once 2k21 becomes the game we all want it to be.

Thanks Greg for allowing little rubbish me join in with all the fun, PGF gave me the only reason to play my CC rounds as I we all know about this game on xbox ... Hopefully we can all get back together soon and try and have some golfing fun

Cheers for setting this all up Greg, it was good. Personally, I'm quite pleased that at the very least we're not continuing straight away because it saves me making a decision. I'm only really enjoying my Xbox society at the moment and am not playing anywhere near enough rounds to reach the consistency required to compete in these tours. I may or may not see the rest of this season out. I think the difference is, in BOB if I have a bad hole or two I remain 'in the game', on TGCT I just say '@!$# it' and speed to the end. I will be back to it but I think I need a little break. On the Xbox, the moment your heart isn't in it you really might as well not bother. Been enjoying GTA recently, might actually finish it this time!

I think there's a few in the same boat, our illustrious leader included! Let's see what's announced for the next TGCT season, maybe also an announcement from 2K. I don't doubt we'll be doing something like this again, just a matter of when.

2nd Round 68 (-4)

Celtic's resolute defending only lasted for the first quarter of the match as Herne Bay hit the woodwork on the 23rd minute. The warning was duly noted and the home team went on the offensive and had chances passed up by Edouard, Abada and Turnbull. There was a lull in proceedings as both teams caught their breath and prepared for one last push before the break. A great effort by Rogic looked as if it was net bound before the Bay tried to sneak a goal on the stroke of half time.

I would like to thank Greg for giving me the chance to represent Celtic in the Pixel Golf Football League. I was happy to immerse myself in the football chat as I know Greg has put a lot into this. Hopefully the game will be a more stable product in future and we can indulge in our travels from Soweto to Methil via wherever HyPa hail from.

Thanks for all your efforts with this Greg, I just wished I would have discovered it sooner! I will always be interested in coming back if you get the itch to resume things down the road.

Herne Bay had the better of the chances just after the break and could maybe have a goal for their efforts. Celtic did come back strong and started to lay seige on the visitors goal with 6 efforts from Edouard, McGregor and Forrest putting the pressure on. We could be set for another grandstand finish at Celtic Park folks.

The matches between Celtic & Herne Bay normally are close run matches, and this one's looking no difference as the Bay managed to take advantage of Celtic rattling the woodwork and quickly punted the ball up the other end to catch Celtic unaware and make match all square at half time

After hearing that the PGFL was closing down there was a pitch invasion protest by the Herne Bay supporters, if you can call one man & a wee dawg an invasion, but fast intervention by security soon got rid of the problem

Thanks Greg for letting a minor league team that nobody probably even knew existed complete against some of top teams in the world. Herne Bay will be back if the PGFL starts again and will finish the match against Celtic to see if they could of made it to the big time

In three seasons of Pixel Golf Football Burton Albion has experienced its fair share of ups and downs. This week, the Brewers were determined to leave it all on the pitch for their playoff match vs. Manchester United and started out strong (R1: 58). As the half wore on, the Man U defense clamped down a bit but Burton was still able to create some opportunities (R2: 64). JFH is pleased with the effort but will continue to keep the foot on the gas in the second half.

Herne Bay started the second half putting pressure on the Celtic defence and didn't let up over the next 22 minutes and took the lead with -8 for Rd 3 . Celtic have a fight on to retain their premiership position, but a draw should keep them there
