Rd 4 - Carlisle Utd -11 Here at pitch side we’re going to grab a quick word with a fan that’s travelled all the way from France, Luckily as we don’t speak French ‘Midget gem’ Mike has offered to interpret.. “le blues était magnifique, j'adore le blues, très bien, merci” Midget gem... “he said they were sh*te, don’t deserve the jersey and the centre forward couldn’t hit a cows arse with a banjo”

After an unexpected change of events that has led to Juve gaining promotion we are excited to get underway! We know there are rumblings of the notorious Italian bribery tactics showing up again but we assure you thats not the case ( SkyBlueBen 😉). Il Bianconeri are still having meetings to work out their final transfer strategies but for now we will be getting underway with our current roster. Given our history with Liverpool we knew this wouldn't be an easy introduction to the premier league. This was quickly realized as Juve came out flat and played frustrated most of the first 22 minutes (especially after getting a handful of bad breaks from the course). This led to defensive errors and a 1-0 deficit early (R1: -6). Allegri quickly whipped his players into shape by yelling Italian curse words at his players. It didn't take much longer and at the half hour point you could see the real Juve on the field (hole out for eagle from 110 yards). This newly energized side just kept firing shot after shot at Alisson and by the end of the first half we were back to level at 1-1 (R2: -13). Great competition so far crushtastic, let's see how this plays out!

Well the 2nd half was practically the same as the 1st for the Bianconeri. The players ate a little too much pasta and didn't drink enough espresso at halftime and came out flat-footed. They tried to scrap together some chances but likely won't be enough for a goal (R3: -8). However, Allegri's tactics of cursing out his players worked again allowing Dybala, Ronaldo, Chiesa, and company to all have plenty of looks at goal the remainder of the game (R4: -13).
We'll have to wait to see what Liverpool does coming out of half but the way they played the first half it is looking primed for a draw to start the season.

For the second half, Erik ten Hag sent the Ajax players on the pitch blindfolded and told them to kick at every sound as hard as they could... Apparently, that’s what he should have done from the start... 🤷🏼♂️ Too little too late to snatch a draw from Celtic Celtic Wolf?

3rd Round -2
If Ajax were to get anything from the match they would have to come out of the traps fast, and that's exactly what they did. For Celtic it was a case of damage control as the Dutch proved why they are the purveyors of "total football" with wave after wave of white and red attacks. To Celtic's credit they hung on for 10 minutes, but some great interplay between Klaassen and Tadić carved open the Celtic defence and let Neres curl the ball into the top corner.
It'll take some heroic defending from Ajer and Julien to keep Ajax at bay, can they hold out for the last 20-odd minutes?

ROUND 1!
The boys got off to the perfect start as paddy bamford handed tap ins for 3 out the 4 1st lot of hole but a stray dog from the herne bay home end strolled on on took paddy out. Knee injury forced him off. Red card for the dog!! Then Steve morison turned up put his boots on and all downhill from there. Sitter after sitter and conceding silly bogeys along the way -2 on the turn. A jack harrison beaut went back to -3 only for the wheels to fall off again. Lapse of concentration from the short game costing bogeys again with only a consultation 18th birdie pulled a sub par -1.
ROUND 2! A stiff talking too and throwing Steve morison under a bus a better performance appeared. A slowish start pars most odd birdie to an odd bogey. So a tactical sub of rodrigo appears going into the back nine. Range of passing started and the runs made and chances started to come. A few long range from a pack defence but breakthrough on 12th and 14th went to -3 again defending was spot on but rodrigo double at the 17th 18th was a better end to the half of -5. Too much work to do so its lads go out and enjoy yourselves!

Tranmere Rovers vs Hyvinkään Palloseura Season 3 starts with a new emphasis on keeping calm, taking each game into 4 little sections and aiming to win each section ... So after the disappointment of last season, will it be another season of doom and gloom or will there be some actual improvement ... only time will tell. 1st Half With this new way of thinking, Rovers came out with fresh ideas, a new way of thinking and were actually playing well. A stunning strike from their on-loan young striker from the Premier League meant being 1-0 up after 25 mins. Rovers manager Davies was reinforcing to the players from the side-line about winning small chunks of the game , so trying to just win the next 20 or so minutes to go into the break in the lead. With this the conditions did take a turn and made life difficult for both teams, however a defensive mishap from the Finnish centre half, whos name i wont attempt to butcher, lead to a 1 on 1 with the keeper which was put away again from the young striker. Half time whistle goes and the Tranmere manager is having a word with the officials while going down the tunnel, he was asking them to check the scoreboard as it didnt seem to be working. (I have lost my score adjustment, can i have it back please ) Tranmere Rovers 2-0 Hyvinkään Palloseura Scores R1 - 67 / -5 (Adj 61) R2 - 73 / +1 (Adj 67)

The Champions seem strangely reticent to kick off the defense of their title. City are now sitting in the changing room wondering what to make of it all.
Second half was ultimately much the same as the first. There was some really good stuff in there, particularly the passing out from the back, but the two up front struggled in front of goal on this surface and chance after chance went begging.
Ended up 66, 70, 66, 69
I feel like I should have scored much better than that, but overall a made cut and one demo mark cleared, got to be happy with that in these trying times. I actually really liked the course but I struggled on the greens in those last two rounds. I'm expecting an opening defeat but who knows?...

Burton Albion tends to play well in season openers and Season 3 is no different. The Brewers rollercoaster is now on the incline after a runner-up finish in the PGPP Cup and a quick 2-0 (Round 1: -4, Round 2: -9) start on goals by the Brothers of Destruction, Kane Hemmings and Joe Powell. JFH needs to continue to bury any doubts about his managerial abilities after the debacle that was Season 2.

Hello. F91 start the new season in the same way as they finished the last one: trying to tie their shoes correctly. With the current configuration, strikers have to shoot a little slower than usual, and they are having difficulties adapting. Thus, they miss the goal all the time. Instead of training sessions, the team manager put Youtube shoe tie tutorials on the schedule. Let's hope that helps eventually. Cheers and good luck all!
