The Azzurri find themselves in a situation to which they are not very accustomed: heading into the final quarter needing a goal to secure a result. Just unable to find their footing coming out of the locker room, Cassino gave the home fans very little to cheer for. And getting on the back foot against Juventus is not where you want to be. It's a long row to hoe to salvage a point. ((R3: 65)) Merry Christmas, FutureBuckeye11 lol. The conditions in the 3rd round were definitely tougher, but I appreciate my Christmas present nonetheless haha play well in the 4th round, the potential for a really low score is definitely out there

The aroma from the Molson Coors Brewery fueled the Brewers to a 2-1 lead after a sluggish start. However, just when Burton thought they had the three points in the bag the wind changed and East Fife found an equalizer to escape the Pirelli with a point (R4: 71). Overall, JFH is disappointed with the result as there were way too many squandered opportunities around the goal.

Dragons don't really know what is going on in Europe but they played their own game, steady but unspectacular to start and tragic after that

Week Five - Midweek News FlashPixel Golf Football is delighted to announce the recovery from Covid of one of our founding players and a return to the League of xboxjonnyuk and his Spurs outfit. Coventry will move into administration for the time being and Spurs replace them in the Sweet FA Cup. John will take his Spurs side into the Championship replacing Leeds United and will inherit the points Leeds accumulated in administration and before. Premier DivisionAjax have rejected de Boer's attempts to get Dutch player to be defensive and it worked beautifully as they beat Orlando 4-0. Giraffe72 may feel one escaped his grasp this week but jason755 did what Man United seem to do at the moment and produced just enough to edge a tight game 2-1. All-square in Brum as Celtic Wolf seek the fifth straight draw against the menacing avjpfc's Villa side. Juve hold the advantage going into the final 25 minutes in the top of the table clash with Cassino. ChampionshipNothing concluded so far but LEFTY79 has the edge going into the final minutes with my brave-hearted East Fife side. Tranmere aren't playing overly well but go in level with Barca. Herne Bay doing enough against Coventry, Canterbury needing a big Second Half and the absent Carlisle waiting for the subs to arrive. Sweet FA CupThis appears to be one of sid snott's good weeks and he has a comfortable half time lead at Canterbury. A similar story for late replacements Spurs who lead at the interval. A titanic battle at New Bayview where where Tombanator and myself are like two pit bulls locked in a life or death struggle. It's goalless at the break an it may take a stick up the backside to break the deadlock.

4th Round 71 (E)
In desperate need of a goal to get something from the match Celtic went gung-ho which led to gaps in their defence. A sublime chip from Edouard clipped the top of the bar and gave the visitors some hope. Another chance came their way with 10 minutes left but Turnbull's shot drifted wide of the target. Unfortunately there were no Swiss styled last gasps assaults on the Villa goal which gave the home team the chance to launch an attack 3 minutes from time to try put the match out of Celtic's reach.

Herne Bay somehow managed to miss an open goal in the first 22 minutes of the second half, but made up for it by the final whistle . At the moment it looks like Herne Bay have got four goals, but they might all be disallowed if a substitute is played.
In the S.F.A Mug the Bay might of left Canterbury a chance at the start of the second half, but think the Bay will get to play one of the big boys from their performance in last 22 minutes

Tranmere - Barcelona Barcelona came out in the second half looking to keep up their play from earlier in the week. Koeman, however, was left wishing he had played through without a halftime break. Second half play was all over the place and scoring opportunities were severely limited for the Blaugrana. Securing a point from the match doesn’t look too promising at this point. On to the next week R3: +3; R4: E

The last 22 wasn't any better than the 3rd section. Too much class from Juventus.

Hello. This is Jérôme Challe, the physiotherapist of F91. For some reason, our manager Carlos Fangueiro didn't show up in the post-game press conference. Therefore, I provide you with the results from our match against Liverpool. I haven't seen the game, though. I'm a physiotherapist. I have to work. Cheers and good luck all!

Pixel Golf Football S3 - Championship division, week 5: Double Trouble, act 2
League: Hyvinkään Palloseura @ Canterbury United Dragons, second half
2-0 lead at the break, looking super good! A bit of a tougher struggle as the guys clearly wanted to throw away another result out the window, but they hung on as best as they could! Still unsure how this ends up but at least we're looking to secure a draw in this one, maybe the last push gives us the goal that we need to put this one away for the first win of the season!
Now on the nailbiter...
Sweet FA Cup, preliminary round: East Fife FC @ Hyvinkään Palloseura, second half
Tough match this one is looking to be! Both teams wanting that sweet, sweet big time match against one of the big boys. But who is going to get it?
It might as well have been a 45 minute sprint since the game continues from 0-0. This team knows nothing about any of that kind of position, we do struggle to score sometimes but keeping a clean sheet while at it? Nah, that's just weird!
It continues to be a very tough affair. The wind that picked up out of nowhere for a while made sure the quality kind of fell off for a moment. Both sides looking for that first mistake to capitalize on and hopefully to finally break the deadlock. After an intense back and forth, it's the home Finnish side that gets to strike first. Nothing super flashy or even dominant shown, but a pretty cautious yet well enough built tactic to break the defense finally pays off, even if it is by just the tiniest bit. The keeper does get the hand in front of the shot but it slips past. 1-0 to the home team. (Round 3: -2, 69)
Onto the very last moments of the game and it is another stretch where neither side gives up an inch. Well, the Finnish side, ONCE AGAIN, shows signs of choking. They have parked the bus as best as they could, yet they still manage to let the opposition pass through to slash its tires. A train of mistakes towards the end of the game gives heart palpitations to the home crowd, as they fear if they would just see a repeat of something they've seen so many times before this season. Thankfully, they get set free for once as one last shot in stoppage time seals this one and the home crowd finally gets a bit of cheering. The team is ecstatic that they have finally managed to pull it off and the celebrations after the game look like they've won the league, or in this case, the cup. A very tough match, setting the bar of excellence for the rest of the cup! Final score: East Fife 0, HyPS 2. (Round 4: -7, 64)
Final score: -21, where the hell did this come from all of a sudden?!
Really well played Greg, I'm just fortunate that I got the advantage of the handicap for this one and I just about managed to pull the scores needed this week! Considering our final scores were just 1 apart from each other, this was a damn good matchup that could have gone either way!

Villa came out for the 2nd half and they were playing some of the worst football they've played, passing tempo was that bad they was close to walking of the pitch and taking the ball with them. Anyway they managed to fluke a goal, but the manager wasn't happy. Recalibration of the whole team and yet another change of boots and they were much better in the last 20 mins. R3 -4 R4 -12

The last 22 wasn't any better than the 3rd section. Too much class from Juventus. ((R4: 65)) Well it looks like Juve won the first pixel golf Derby d'Italia! I am still kind of surprised with this result as I know my opponent is a very strong competitor. I'm sure this won't be the last time we meet and I know each battle will be a classic. Good luck going forward! Not sure if you're also an Italian National Team fan but if you are at least we have that going for us too right now!
