Tranmere - Barcelona
Barcelona continue their road trip to Birkenhead for this week’s matchup against the Rovers. Barcelona were a bit slow at the start but grew into the match after the 10th minute. Pressing forward much of the time Barca put immense pressure on Tranmere but this came with a cost as tired legs prevailed to close the half and erased the progress they had made leaving little resistance in defense and needing Ter Stegen to stand on his head to prevent a Rovers goal
R1: -4; R2: E
(For a second I thought I might be able to make my first cut in a couple months. Still too early to tell I guess but it doesn’t look overly promising)

Herne Bay kept the pressure on Coventry for the rest of the first half and scored a easy goal -4 rd 2 . On the half time whistle, Coventry were dragged screaming & kicking off the pitch by the ear for their tea by their mum, hope their allowed out again to finish the match, as going on previous form, Herne Bay have been known to throw away a good lead and end up with a draw. Meanwhile in the Tea Cup it's any one's game as the Dragons have yet to emerge from the cave You can only beat what’s in front of you and you’ve got no one in front of you. Open goal. Even the Bay can’t fcuk that one up surely!! (Done something a bit stupid. I can see on reflection what I’ve done is idiotic but it seemed like the best idea at the time!)

Thanks goodness that is over. Complete debacle.
Rd 3 +2
Rd 4 -1
Swing felt so loose and wonky, and I played TST earlier in the evening and shot -3 and -1. Go figger!
Orlando is now looking for a new stadium as I fear the fans have probably burnt down Soweto after this showing.
GG Frans, I had no chance.
Onward.

Pixel Golf Football S3 - Championship, week 5: Double Trouble, act 1
League action: Hyvinkään Palloseura @ Canterbury United Dragons, first half
Stark contrasts this week: on one hand, we've got ourselves a league battle in the land down under, and on the flip side we've got a home tie up north in the cup! The team came on a bit of a slump this week, they've been practicing hard but their finishing ability needs a touch up and a half still. They also need to get rid of their choking mentality somehow, but we can't afford a sports psychologist, so... no luck there! Anyway, we're going with the league report first, then the Cup one. (even though they've both got the same scores, but could be wildly different outcomes)
So we've once again made this trip from hell much like last season from homely Finland (which I believe we spent the last 2 weeks there for the first time ever before making this trip) to the land of New Zealand. Hoping for a similar outcome like last season too, but we know that we can't underestimate the opponent even though they're on the struggle bus like ourselves. Any week can be the catalyst for anything, both good and bad.
Kickoff is underway and... it's hard to find any weaknesses from our play? They could have started better since they're inconsistent as hell and missing an opportunity here and there but overall, this is looking very good! Not quite sure yet if this carries to anything, but we've started off on a very good note this week! (Round 1: -8, 63)
Next bit of the game is a bit more sluggish and has its few moments of mistakes, but the boys for once this season have a genuine reason to walk back to the locker room with heads held high, no matter if they're trailing, drawing or winning. They've done surprisingly well, hoping that the scoreboard shows something similar! (Round 2: -4, 67)
Sweet FA Cup: East Fife FC @ Hyvinkään Palloseura, first half
Ahh, the magic of the cup! The chance where the youth can shine, as they fight for roster spots at the big boy club. That's why we sent our under 16s junior club instead, while the big boys are too busy on a different continent!
Now HERE'S where we're looking at things developing interestingly! Both teams are super neck and neck all the way to the halftime whistle, with both sides having their opportunities and their mistakes. Neither side capitalizes by the looks of it, so are we actually heading to the break at 0-0? How often does that even happen in this league?
-12 through 2 and in the fight for promo marks?! Granted, I won't have any no matter what happens after this week but if I can just finish the week and nothing strange happens, I'll still stick around in CC-D for a couple more weeks! Funny how this is working out after my mistimed callout for a worse fate a few weeks ago!

Just in case any of the cup ties are tied after 90 minutes
The tie between Tomi and myself is 0-0 at half time.

3rd Round 76 (+5)
Well the momentum that Celtic picked up at the end of the first half withered when they reappeared for the second half. It was nearly the hour mark before Celtic could muster a shot on target then another one shortly after but they didn't trouble the goalie. Too many errors at the back presented Villa with ample opportunities and a team of their standard will surely punish the slack play.

The Azzurri find themselves in a situation to which they are not very accustomed: heading into the final quarter needing a goal to secure a result. Just unable to find their footing coming out of the locker room, Cassino gave the home fans very little to cheer for. And getting on the back foot against Juventus is not where you want to be. It's a long row to hoe to salvage a point. ((R3: 65)) Merry Christmas, FutureBuckeye11 lol.
