Rd 4 -5 nearly managed to wipe out the bogies from the first three rds, would of done it if I hadn't hadn't a couple of bogies on the back nine. Had a few close shaves with the hole as well . sandsaver01 |

sandsaver014th round +2 With the exception of a +50' eagle putt and a 45' birdie putt that I pulled out of my poop chute, the rest of the round was utter garbage. Sorry to my teammates but this was as well as I could do this week.

couple of pretty gross rounds to finish. had a miss or two of 4-6 feet putting in each round, including a blowup hole on the really short par 4 after splashing one into a bunker. knew what i had to get in R4 and was there after 10 holes, and then went full choke job. turning the page to next week! Trying something different. Since I seem to land in the red fast to grey fast no matter what I do. *unless its a hole with a hazzard on the right, usually a par 5 then its a red slow. Preprogammed random bs* I changed my driver from a more forgiving that had around 277 yards. Knock 20 to 30 off depending on level of red fastedness. I went to the 295 (whatever the name is, who cares). Now when I red fast I end up where a perfect more forgiving driver would end up. Shortening my 2'nd shot. The 190-220 yard 2'nd shots are getting old. So in short. I'm playing the red fast. Take that HB, your change isn't working, time to revert them. Played round one, was so excited that I was done I forgot to screenshot it. Had to play another round with my ghost. Plus my round 2. 3 rounds in this game is more than enough for me, or that it even deserves that much of my attention. So..natterings aside. sandsaver01Round 1

Hey TimB, one helpful thing I learned recently, if you are bothered to recalibrate: when using the calibration, don't try to swing for perfects. Instead, use very fasts/slows to move the swing the way you want it. So for example, if you're finding yourself hitting mostly grey fasts and red fasts, go to calibrate, then hit 6 very fasts and 4 very slows (see the 6:4 fast to slow ratio?). This will move your swing calibration a bit to where your faster swing is closer to a perfect. Now test it out, if you still find you're leaning towards fast, go back in to the calibration, this time hit 7 very fasts and 3 very slows. Now go back and test it out. You can go all the way to 10 very fasts, which is the furthest the calibration will go in that direction. If it goes too far, then you can go back into the calibration and hit a few more very slows (6 to 4) to move it back the other way. It's incredible how there are no explanations for this, but this is essentially how calibration works. It just looks at your swing outcomes and compares the fasts to the slows... if you have more fasts, it moves your calibration "right" (ie something that would've been registering as a grey fast shifts slightly right now to perfect). It could help and bring some fun back into this game for you! |

Just tired of getting thrashed by a bunch of pro players again. Neil, I really was not "being like that" and I am sorry if it came across that way. It was a PITA for me to put together a schedule that did not run ((number of teams - 1) * 2) weeks, since nobody else seemed to want a 10 week schedule. I was serious, you have made suggestions in the past that have been good so I was just thinking you might have a better scheduling method. |
