Will come down to the wire but looks like I’ll come up short on both singles. R3: not quite in rhythm, able to scratch to -7 but left some on the table, will drop it by a shot to our fearless scorekeeper R4: knew I’d need to get hot to get to -11, so missed makeable birdie putts on 1 & 2. Eagled the third to get going but then had my only slow drive appear (my fault) on the hole with the creek down the right, which bid so long to my chances. Anything I do this week matters very little, but made the cut with ease and an ace alert in round 3! Finished -11 under, felt okay with that despite tempo being stupid bad going towards the end. Finally felt like it was purely my fault though, I could blame inconsistency before but now I know it was my fault. And knowledge is half the battle, as they say!

It looks like it will come down to me shooting better than a -5 in round four. Much as I would love it, asking Darren to beat Dan's -14 will require a miracle.

Rd 4...even par. As I walked to the first tee with -14 to beat the gallery screamed " give over man and put your clubs back in the locker " Anyway. 3 birds...3 bogies and no doubles again so happy . Cheers for all work you organisers do and hopefully the final is a draw :-) sandsaver01 |

After earlier in the day shooting a worst ever +17 in the last round of TST this week, my knees were shaking going into my match against SkyBlueBen . Things started out poorly, with a poor tempo drive and second shot causing me to have to make a 15 footer for bogey on #1. An eagle on the first par five followed by another tempo-caused bogey on the next hole made me grind my teeth. Thankfully I managed to pull it together a bit for the first four holes on the back side then reverted to the mean for pars coming in, but the -7 was enough for the win.  Well fought We're Snott Losing, and I hope we meet again in the next season. Since dansamp is leaving us, and billybudd0623 will be unavailable for a while, I am not sure when we will start a new Dirtbags season, but I will be writing on this thread as things become more clear. |

Also well played the you 3 USA fellas.
Of course I was flung in to level things out but I didnt level it enough.
About only thing I did was the odd bird to help my pard.
Hopefully we can get another one going as without it I may take a rest.
