Do you think the fittings make a real difference ?? I'm not convinced they make a significant difference.
The Swing Path makes a huge difference.
Make your 3 iron have 85 Swing Path and make your 4 Iron have 100 Swing Path.
Next go into the driving range and toggle the 3 iron back to the 4 iron and you will see.
The white line is much bigger on the 100 Swing Path.
Timing seems to be second on the list for me.
Test 75 Timing versus 90 or higher and see how many perfects you hit.
I hit 40% more perfects with 90 timing compared to 75.
You can make low Timing and low Swing Path work but it will be more of a struggle.
Expect to swim a bit more in the rough and sand.
At the end of the day, putting is King.
If you can't make your medium and long putts go in, you'll be doomed to constant pars or worse.
Just my IMO which comes from 750 hours of gameplay and some testing so far.
PS: Lie Range is another big one if you test it at 90 or higher versus 72.
Transition is not a big deal.
I run it at 59 and have no issues when I compare it to something like 90.
Shaping is interesting as the higher the better but just don't shape your balls too much because when you miss this causes big misses the more you shape.
Unless you hit straight and perfects all day long.
In that case... shape away!
Power is amazing if you can control it.
Not so easy though.
Just my experience... you need to run your own tests as platform, controller and skill level cause massive variance.
Not to mention the never ending difference from course to course.
Some courses you may want more Rythm and other course you'll want more Power.
I love that part of 2k23.
Practice rounds for scouting and changing fittings or archetype to fit each individual course for your game style.
I switch between Powerhouse, Rythm and Sculptor a lot.
Sometimes I mess with Woodsman, but I don't find it near as useful.
I love Powerhouse on those courses with long, wide fairways but you'll need to master the pitch shot.
Once you figure out Pitch Shot, you'll love Hitting Bombs!
