No worries at all i went Jan and Feb not touching the designer and now i think i have about 10 courses to finish, one of them is Wentworth so was hoping it was going to be designed, all the best if you do stop just let me know and i can plod along all summer and hopefully get something made for september like i said earlier in a post just a too large a file for my laptop really.

Old Course Lidar about 70%,Muirfield Lidar about 60%,London Club Heritage 90% (cazoo classic course 2021),Littlestone Golf club 60%,Royal West Norfolk (brancaster) 80% Trouble is i only used to design them to play them on xbox,Since the swing change don't play anymore on the xbox,so now there more a design study of the course than an actual design do most of the course and just play them now and again on Laptop.Once i have done the course now and its playable just move onto something else to look and study at because it seems to me certain site's not really interested in real courses anymore. The Gravity Tour as always wanted Woburn in the game and in the last few weeks been some 2021 lidar for the marquess course there,might throw something together for them. This sites not interested right? I feel there should be room for appreciation of both. |

Very interesting but once i have the tee's fairways and greens down so i can play them on PC,i get very bored with all the other stuff you need to add to make them release/tour worthy and just move on to another course. Also i feel TGC tours/2k/HB No longer interested in Real Designs espically playing pro setting and when you see Real courses struggle to get more than 1 to 5 comments in completed section no real point anymore Since Lidar was introduced it seems to some Real designs don't really count here. PS i did release London club Heritage and Royal Lytham & St Annes 2021 and Royal North Devon 1834,since that post so i am slowly working through them But i do not enter the courses into the TGC tours database anymore just design for myself to play on Master or Legend setting. Don't think Littlestone will ever get finished because its too large a file for me to design with on my old laptop i think it's up to abut 20/30sec now for ever time you place something. Was hoping to get a lidar design of the Belfry ready for this week for the British Masters but slowly run out of time again then again its there for me to play along with the pro's and that's what i enjoy doing.It will be the same later in the year at Hillside/Muirfield and St Andrews.   |

Only managed to knock Brookline out because of having Covid (again…) and it’s been hard work! The Wentworth project is such an all encompassing course and will require a vast amount of work! Who knows though! |

No worries Pat take it easy, from a personal view i have a layout so i can just play along with some of the pins but with the retaining walls and large file just too much effort to do a proper version. We was just a little worried about you not being on site just glad everything seems ok.

Cheers mate, all good my end - just been mega busy with other things and designing is such a huge task when you're a detailed person as I'm sure you get with your designs! I'm sure when things calm down in the winter I'll get back cracking on Wentworth for sure. It'll be a really comprehensive job but will hopefully be very good! |

No worries ill just put the pins on my beta version and play along. Saying that how the greens are i would expect not to many pin changes from last year not many pin positions on those lidar greens. Still can't work out why my course file is so large.

Still can't work out why my course file is so large. Wentworth will probably be the first “new” release I do on 2k23. I want to re-do West Hill with better heather that appears in the distance thus framing the course like it should be. Also might hold off on porting St Enodoc until they give us the pot bunkers, same with Hayling. I’ve also got a new fescue method I want to apply to both as well, so significant upgrades that’ll be worth it for sure! The rest will be ported straight over, after that I’ll get going on Wentworth again proper |

I have noticed on the latest google earth pics,they have dug up a lot of the shrub there and put in waste areas.
I can see a few problems going forward with designing courses for older consoles and newer consoles and modern PC's.Some of the courses struggle now on old consoles not sure how it can be solved when you got high end pc's and newer consoles designs and courses being played on old consoles. I suppose Time will tell in the end design for yourself and the system you play on.
