I did design the 2nd hole whilst the PGA was on,it was before i had noticed the above video 1st ever flythrough of Wentworth i reckon. Hopefully i am getting my interest in the game back since the patch Got the old course open 2015 (lidar) about 60% Muirfield 2013 open (lidar) the same,London Club Heritage about 95% done,Brancaster around 80% and littlestone about 60% but i keep getting distracted by new course downloads layouts and just make them playable to study the layouts and don't really commit to full designs because they take me so long to do. Look forward to playing all of those!

Sometimes things get out of hand and I go down rabbit holes with irrelevant objects haha

Holy Cow Paddy, you have just amazed me with Hayling and now Wentworth, I will much enjoy following your progress over the winter. And Yeltz, please, please don’t stop publishing - with Paddy you are making 2k21 so satisfying for British players And us Australian players. We love the British links/heathland/inland parkland courses. Oh yes we do!

It's a heathland brethren for sure because I LOVE playing Aus Sandbelt Courses when they're published on here (thanks Heisenberg), there's just something about that sandy land and wild scrub combines with ground game! Been thinking about doing a side project using the LiDAR of St George's Hill and returning it to it's orignal, wild AF design - see case studies below; Could definitely go down the rabbit hole on this one

paddyjk19 , wonderful old photos of St. Georges Hill. I love the black and whites of a former era. Laughing at the height of the flag in that second photo! Must be a blind approach due to the severe slope down to the hole right?

Must be a blind approach due to the severe slope down to the hole right? Oh for sure, It's so you can see the flag when you're on the green but 20 ft above the hole and 94 yards away lol. I'm making this green. It will be magnificent haha

I played St George’s Hill on a corporate golf day, announced off the tee, didn’t make the road to the clubhouse 30 yards away. I have never (been asked to) return(ed)!!!

paddyjk19, the colouring looks absolutely spot on IMO. Based on watching the most recent BMW Championship you have that lush emerald green look without it being too rich and the exterior of the hole with a slightly browned-off appearance. As it should be during at the time of the year when the BMW is played. Regarding the light rough around bunkers (earlier post) I'd run with what's shown in that overhead photo, i.e. go with the light rough collar if that's how they mow. Hopefully some others also provide comments as this is quite an important aspect to get right. Cheers and keep up the great work! Btw, will you do just a members version first without tourney objects? That would be great and then a tourney version later like you did with The Country Club.

Not been on site for 3 months, Hopefully everything ok with the designer, Course does deserve a Lidar version, Saying that the version in game is so good elevation wise, just seems different in the routing on the test lidar.

This is a great course and Paddy was right, the water on 8 and 18 were brutal to get done because the green side of the water is higher than the other side. The stands on 18 are just there for effect, I'll redo them so they are correct when I get back to that hole. Yeltzman you are correct too, The LiDAR elevations are quite a bit different than the RCR in the game.

Biggest difference to me compared to the version in game which in my view is still very good but an old layout, Are on and around the greens the lidar greens match Wentworth's so well, and when they firm them up play so tough. Looking forward to this and how well your last 2 courses came out in safe hands here.i would have attempted this course ages ago but i could not get the lidar mask right and the file was over 10kb in size so for me it was impossible to do and design and for it to play well on my old xbox.

Any News on how Wentworth is coming along, would be nice to have a new Lidar course file to play in September, if not will have to look at my old course file again to design.

I sort of burned out but I'm starting to get the itch again. BTW Sorry about not replying to your previous post, I normally get emails like I did for this one, I must have missed it somehow.
