Well I think I’m getting the sack on my meltdown on the closing holes,and I don’t know what’s happened with the bunker shots ,I thought I had thrown it away

Did you really think I wasn't going to write SOMETHING up this week?
Highlight(s) of the season: 4-0 opening week win with the strongest week I've ever had, making the playoffs
Lowlight(s): absolute thrashing in the playoffs, basically the second half of the season
After a dismantling 4-0 loss in Amsterdam to wrap the season up, the boys are in a state of two minds. On one hand, they just blew the biggest opportunity of their lives in a spectacular fashion. On the other hand, it just gave them a glimpse of what they should be expecting if they somehow had made it to the league above and it wasn't going to be looking good. So... can the team really be that mad about losing? Surprisingly, no. The initial expectations were to just be competitive on a completely zero budget, maybe get a win or two there. Never in a million years was the expectation that we can actually promote ourselves from the Championship. It was a story of a minnow punching way above their weight, only for that wind to be taken out of their sails right at the end. A story of a steam engine that just died out at the very end of the journey.
It isn't coming to an end without the slightest bit of controversy though! Reports are in, and since the team hadn't been paid in weeks, the Finnish legend Jari Litmanen was seen handing paychecks to the boys, and we are only hearing rumors about it, but the condition apparently also was to just throw the game so the Dutch side can win with ease. Apparently there are also rumors that the club is in big financial debt, possibly had breached Financial Fair Play rules at some point, and are now expecting a full sale of players to make up for it all.
In conclusion, the all in method at the start of the season didn't carry all the way to the end, and the expectation is that next season, HyPS will be represented by actual farmers from Finland. At least they can grow their own food, so they won't starve unlike the players in this team had in the last few weeks. Bring on the next season, we're going back in.
Our congratulations to league champions Cassino Calcio! Congratulations to winners of the playoffs as well, may you enjoy your time on top! And to anyone in the Championship next season, take it easy on us poor farmers, eh?

Celtic stayed in the same gear up until the last 5 minutes and then the tiredness really showed. It seemed to be a mix of players not wanting to get injured ahead of the transfer window and the upcoming European Championships. The Pirates didn't let up and managed to extend their lead and serve a reminder that Celtic will have to improve for next season.
The Celtic manager recognised that the circumstances weren't ideal as the players minds were elsewhere. He also joked that the Scottish lads were in the unfamiliar situation of having to prepare for a major tournament with their country. He also remarked it's better to lose in pre-season as it'll show everyone at the club that there's a lot of work ahead.

Congrats on the championship cassinochips. I wonder if I'll get the chance to take on the Champions next season? 1-1 at half time and I think the second half will be just as tight. More of the same in the last 20 minutes, lovely sweeping moves up the pitch closely followed by a bad back pass and the midfield slipping over in the mud. Final round 67. Over to you Lefty.. |

Well after the game was dead and buried at half time I thought I'd let the under 12's have a run out! (1st game of the day) epic fail turned into epic fail! Even on the last hole on rd4 the tiny legs couldn't get over the water... 3 times may I add!!! +5 then a +9 due to the 18th to rub salt in. Glad it was only a friendly. Need to find some sort of... well gunna say consistency but its xbox and it hasn't had it for 6yrs of this game. Anyhow.. roll on next match!! Back to the training ground to morn the departure of berardi and Hernandez 😭😭😭

As if in pixel golf they had to take a drop in rd 4 on the 17th on a bridge but can't and game offers no escape option, Game is such that probably don;t matter: R3 +2 R4 +12?  |

Unlike the real game Pixel Golf Football has players involved with VAR. I don't think anyone would complain about the R4 score being accepted Justin especially within the context of the game score. |
