Hello. As a reward for making the finals, the team owner ordered a new pair of shoes for all players. However, due to a typo, 90's style moon boots have been ordered instead of football shoes. Obviously, Dudelange had a hard time passing the ball, finding either the opponent or the sideline, but not the teammate. In view of the recent drop in performances, F91 is certainly happy with the silver medal as well, especially since it was not clear in the beginning of the season if Dudelange were allocated to the PG Premier League or the Championship. It all comes down to this!
After a dominant run through the table, except for a minor slip-up at the very end, Cassino Calcio looks to put the cherry on top of the whipped cream and earn the coveted PGF gold star.
A glimmering week of practice leading up to the title game (shot a 58 in the one practice round I played) led to a bit of a nervy start for the Azzurri as they felt out the match day conditions. Once the adrenaline wore off, the Italians settled into their typical attacking fervor and started launching shots at the Luxembourg side's goal mouth.

The first 22 belonged to the boys in blue, but a few slips at the back end on Dudelange counters gave the Luxembourgers an opportunity or two to equalize. Solid keeping kept a clean sheet for the Italians, and a counter of their own found the lead doubled before the half.

Firmly in control, with the championship in reach, all that's left to do is to finish the deal. The second half beckons!

Maybe it's end of season fatigue or the knowledge that there's nothing up for grabs in this match but Celtic don't seem to be bothered about playing. It's a case of let the Pirates attack then try and counter but they rarely imposed themselves on the opposition. Orlando did take advantage on the hour mark with a corner which was met by Nyauza who ghosted in at the back and headed the ball into the net.
Off the field there are calls for a big name signing to help play at a higher level. The last time Celtic went for a big name there was some miscommunication as the club bought Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink, apparently the length of name wasn't what the manager had in mind.

Result is in from Amsterdam. I have no writeups to give out because... god damn, this week has been painful to me. If the question at any given point was "is Ajax going to be relegated?" I can safely say those worries were massively overexaggerated because little did they know how easy they would actually have it. Hell, even I didn't know how easy they would have it. In fact, the real question now should be "does HyPS get relegated because that's what should happen?" Ajax 4 - Hyvinkään Palloseura 0. Enjoy the following image. I sure as f*** did not enjoy playing through this. All I can say is this: tempo screwed me over any chance it got. Missed pretty much all of my first putts by design, only exceptions were less than 6 feet away or dead straight. Took a stroke limit in round 4 because again, bad tempo and water does not mix. I had 8 birdies in FOUR ROUNDS. If you want to look at positives, I had a better fairway percentage than I usually have. That's about it. All these updates have done is just emphasize my biggest weaknesses (the tempo especially) and made me even worse of a player than before because of that. I no longer belong in CC-D, and I'm sure the next few weeks will slide me the hell down if I can't figure things out. Thought about the idea of requalifying and seeing where I truly belong now, but that would be too easy. I'll try to struggle through this, I'm chalking this up as just a bad week. Too bad it happened here, but oh well. If this is how it's going to be from now on, fair enough. I had my moments already in the game, bring on the struggle bus if that's going to be it.  |

Sorry to see you struggle that much; it will get better, it will! I think it'll get better too, just needed to vent stuff out for just a quick sec. I started with struggling the last time there was an update and slowly was getting things going before this happened again and put me basically back to zero. This week was going to be tough anyway, you could tell when they actually had to tone down the conditions. I have some hope still left though and if it isn't getting much better, that's fine. I'll just fully embrace that life, no big deal to me in the long term if I'm doing great or not. You did also put up some fantastic scores this week which I wasn't going to be matching, regardless of anything! Very well done, -35 is no easy feat! |

No write up for me due to a not being good at the moment to fill the chat with commentary... so I know mines a friendly so it's not all bad. -1 rd1 and E 2nd rd. Told you Warnock style footy would be back. (Not to this extent due to ANOTHER JOKE OF AN UPDATE *cough*) but... oh and another missed cut. Down to C for me with the looks. Changing room is gunna be a mess due to Bellusci turning back up unnoticed and putting the shirt back on the idiot!!!

The Brewers were the beneficiary of a fluke goal early on and took the early lead (R1: -3) despite their shoddy form. As the half wore on the ragged play continued from Burton and the Robins were finally able to equalize heading into the break. (R2: +3). It’s anyone’s game at this point but the momentum is on the side of Bristol City.

Dagger! In the 58th minute, Ricamato launches a rocket into the goal from distance (45-yard pitch slithers into the cup for eagle), catching the Dudelange keeper flat-footed with no chance at reacting to the strike. With the victory locked up, the celebration on the streets of Cassino begins in earnest. The dream season has been well and proper finished.

I was hoping that the matches would resolve themselves but here is the tie-break; Extra time: The aggregate of nett round scores so the four round total after you score adjustment, lowest total wins. If that doesn't break the tie then a penalty shoot out. When the R4 cards become visible tomorrow I will work out holes 14-18 based on gross scores. You score if you match or beat your opponent, goals totaled over those closing five holes. If still even then sudden death working back from hole 13. Hope this is acceptable. |
