Nice course, the contrast of the colors between the greens and FWs took a while to get used to but it grew on me as the round progressed. GL in the contest...

theclv24 looks amazing as always. Can't wait to play tonight. Would love to see a version of this "in flood" with the wash slowly streaming down the canyon. A summer and winter version perhaps? Strategically this may change the way some holes are played esp. as the sand is generally less penal that a ball in water. What I really like about what I see in the photos is the context around this design. There seems to be a prevalence of courses being released with green fairways and no transition to sand. Sort of Tara Iti style. Seems to be the trend at the moment. Happy Canyon appears to be similar in concept but with more consideration and a real difference, i.e. within a canyon on a sand base with little rivulets carved out by the wash. I guess what I'm saying is it's a very believable course and already has me hooked. Of course if this was based on Rustic Canyon then this makes sense but it's still different to many recent (and older) releases where the fairways have seemingly been "dropped" on to a big bed of sand, some grasses and low lying trees added and some funky green contouring. I also love it when a designer provides a layout. Always interesting to see how the course is routed. Good luck in the contest!

Great job with this course! Wasn’t sure about the color choice for textures but I got used to it as the round went along and really didn’t notice it by the end. The greens were a blast to play and figure out and I only got into a bad spot once or twice. Certainly didn’t have a Mayday round but felt pretty good about the final score. Definitely want to go back and try different pins. Good luck in the contest!

Was rewatching the NLU Tourist Sauce ep at Rustic literally 1hr ago before heading to work and thought "damn that looks a lot like the pictures CLV has posted from his WCOD course, wonder if he was building based on Rustic?"
Looks killer, and immediately makes me feel inferior about the course I'll be publishing into group F in the coming days lol great job, and best of luck (though I doubt you'll need it!)

I can release a version that features the textures in the pictures. I'd be doing it for you guys, not for me. I'm perfectly fine with my current texture choice.
Bad news is that I tried putting crowds into that version and before I was even done with 3 holes my File Size meter, not the Object meter, hit 100% and I couldn't do anything. So there won't be a version with crowds. It's just pandemic version only.

Absolutely fantastic. Sculpting, textures and the vibe is great, and above all, super fun to play!

Great entry into the contest. Course was a lot of fun to play. Liked the openness and routing of the course. Very much appreciated that sense of always knowing where you were on the plot, something you don't get very often. I was consciously attempting this on my own recent publish. Of course, as the designer you know your own course like the back of your hand but have no real clue how this will translate to other players. Sightlines were great. Greens were well funky (9th made me straight out laugh) and made for a lot of fun, interesting and challenging short game play. Perhaps the red was a smidge overdone in spots, but that would be a very minor complaint.
This seems like a good opportunity for me to thank you for the tremendous work you've done recreating some of the famous tracks of the real world for us to enjoy. So, thank you!

Greens are absolutely incredible. Tee shot visuals are great too, so much subtle elevation change that lets everything pop. Job well done.

Super fun course. As others have said, enjoyed playing some of the greens contouring on approach. Aced #3, too, which never hurts ones opinion of a course great job here and best of luck.

RCR King is just a one-trick pony. lol
Wait... what? He's not? Well damn. Fantastic course. So many subtle little details in the terrain. This was such a joy to play and the contrast of colours made it pure eye candy.

Nice job bud. Had the pleasure of playing this one in very high winds and enjoyed using the green contours to try to work some shots close that I might not otherwise have been able to. Waste bunkering was also top notch. Best of luck in the contest 👍🏻!

Course #3 for Friday night alt shot on Xbox starting around 8:30pmEST. I dont know how you have the time to pump these courses out and work on a new Master's course...its crazy. This one is awesome and one of my favorites I have seen so far. Really unique views and things you did around the course with the thin sandy areas and such. Cannot wait to see the rest of this one on Friday. Good luck in the contest.
