Considering entering this... Silly question here.... I thought the minimum number of holes you could publish was 9?
There isn't a minimum number of holes needed to publish. There have been 4-hole to 8 hole contests, etc.
The key is to publish this under an obscure name, so it's not easily found, since you don't likely want people playing that version. Especially if you decide to extend your entry to a full 18 later.
The judges will search for the exact name you post here, once the publish windows opens.

I've gone completely crazy now. My newest routing now has two of each par, a 250 yard par three and a 660 yard opener followed by a 90 yard second. Somehow I managed to fit it inside the routing box lol. Cannot wait to continue trying this designer thingy. Although when I saw Skinnie's picture, I knew I had no chance.
