Round Four - let's get in done and move on
Pretty much the same story. Five under at the turn, nine under on the last tee. Into the bunker, short right, flop to 15ft, 2" bogey putt, the only shot dropped and one of the better performance by East Fife. May not be enough to keep Tranmere at bay but some green shoots of recovery, light at the end of the tunnel, setting me up for a kick in the plums next week.
Round Four 64 (-8)

Yeah and now we've got our own JFK, bloody John f****** Kennedy until the end of the season. Didn’t take NewCo FC long to bring back the status quo 😉 Yeah it was getting boring after winning our 12th successive domestic trophy. It's always been swings and roundabouts in Scotland, Rangers had their dominant period in the 90's when Celtic were at risk of going bust and we've had it when they folded. At least Gerrard and that lot will eventually get their first league winners medal.

Not too many grassy knolls round Celtic Park and the closest you have to a Book Depository is a branch of John Menzies

3rd Round -2
The 2nd half started quite the same as the first with both teams having chances but neither team capitalising. A lovely floated through ball from the cultured feet of Tom Rogic gave Griffiths a chance to get his name on the scoreboard. Celtic may have some flashes of brilliance going forward but their defensive frailties will always give the opposition hope.

Second half not even underway yet and most of the Spurs fans are leaving the stadium already after this awful display of football and Celtic are just playing them off the park and tempers fraying and cards being shown left right and centre and if this carries on they’ll be lucky to have any players left on the pitch! Evenly matched now for the second half but if Spurs continue this kind of form it will be a good win for the home team.
Round 2 +2
Now for the real golf commentary.....god I suck at this game lately and doing my brain in 😄

Tranmere Rovers vs East Fife
Tranmere after gaining their first point of the season last week went into this game with some confidence ... which was smashed out of them with in the first 30 minutes. The words, 'cows arse' and 'banjo' come to mind after the performance in the 1st half.
Half time
Tranmere Rovers 0 - 2 East Fife
R1 - 72 (E) Adjusted score 66 R2 - (+1 (73) Adjusted score 67

Burton Albion at Aston Villa
Fully expected a letdown after last week’s upset over Ajax and that’s exactly what happened. The pixel golf Brewers may need a Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink motivational speech at half time to salvage a point.

Week Five - Around the grounds round up
Covid Champions League
A titanic struggle in the early kick off where Ajax and West Ham shared the points in Amsterdam, both teams demonstrating the consistency and brilliance most of us can only imagine. The other game in Group A is the late match but Aston Villa's mum has rung the league to say they are on their way and will definitely be there in time to play.
Group B sees everything all-square at half time. Liverpool and United cannot be separated as we go into the second period and this is the same position in Italy where Cassino are being held by the Pirates. Both of these games could genuinely go either way.
Lockdown Cup
In Group A Celtic and Spurs cannot be separated at the break but this is the only match where the teams are tied. Coventry hold an unbeatable advantage going into the last 20 minutes over Bristol City. F91 Diddeleng lead 2-0 against Herne Bay in Luxembourg and East Fife lead by the same score on the Wirral at Tranmere.
Still plenty to play for in the majority of the matches.
