Without getting into the debate I do think Bright raises a good idea. Perhaps send the invite out but be forced to register would be good?

I agree, perhaps have a cut-off the day before the tournament opens. Might be hard to get proper backfill though with the limited amount of time.

ya and many of us think you should have been disqualified from all events for the rest of the year, arnt you glad it doesnt happen like that? im getting a dq for chipping on the green here. Well welcome back Taste, I was wondering where you were lurking. There is a difference between the two and if you can't see that I can't help you. Everyone got a say in my issue, the admins made a decision. I OFFERED to be DQ'd and start completely over, everything erased, so for me, I also came to them. I can sleep comfortably knowing I did everything I could to try and be fair. I'm sorry you cannot. To say not to respond is silly. I don't care if you read it or not but you put an opinion out there for the rest of the populous to read and i have to respond. If you don't care what the response is going to be, perhaps you should not post to begin with and dredge up stuff that is far in the past? No need to be a troll. I am merely voicing an opinion as there are 5+ folks who haven't played a tournament in 4-6 weeks who were auto invited who probably won't play. So i'll amend my original thought. Instead of an auto invite, maybe the players who qualified should be forced to register instead of getting an auto invite. A cheat is a cheat, and will always be a cheat, and will always defend their cheating, why, because that's what cheats do..................

Well I managed to shoot 1 under par for two rounds not much to say but it was fun. I did generate some excitement on the backside on Friday. I eagled 15, birdied 16, birdied 17, and stuck one close for a great chance to birdie 18.

I really felt like I was playing the Masters, video game style of course. But the pressure was awesome and the course, well, I love Magnolia and so glad we have a course that plays very much like the real thing. I don't think any course that has greens this tough she be any harder than these as for softness - firmness. Last 2 weeks the greens were a little to unrealistic as for firmness. Only a very, very, very dry British Open course should ever be that firm. No other course in USA would ever be that firm.
-11 for 2 rounds. I am cut watching again. But to make top 50 after 2 days at Magnolia, all I needed to do! Bring on the weekend I hope.

If only that was reversed.
Great fun playing though. The course was tough, but fair.

I'm in agreement with this. I think anyone who qualified and didn't withdraw via post to the admins ...and who don't play their two rounds should be DQ'd for the next major. ya and many of us think you should have been disqualified from all events for the rest of the year, arnt you glad it doesnt happen like that? im getting a dq for chipping on the green here. Why did u chip? Having a bad round and got angry? Threw in the towel? Surely wasn't a mistake!

Why did u chip? Having a bad round and got angry? Threw in the towel? Surely wasn't a mistake! Hit a good shot into the center of green, bounced and rolled less than 10feet from the back of the green, then to a left turn and it stopped off the front of the green, not my cup of tea there. I'm not going to finish any more tournys were good shots are repelled like that shot was. i never liked this version, prolly the only one, but nevertheless I did not find it finishable, so I chipped so I did not have to continue.

Ouch! Don't tell CLV!! anyway each to there own. I personally thought the man has done an incredible job on this course, not gna be everyone's cup of tea but personally after trying to tackle the GNCD many times myself and failing I salute anyone, including yourself, who is able create/recreate awesome courses for us to play especially this version of Augusta. I no next week ul have put the toys back in the pram and will be a strong contender once more, iv watched all your videos and no u got game bro.

68, 72
As expected nowhere near making the cut, just couldnt get a score going on any of the practice rounds or tournament rounds. Struggled to get approach shots close enough for a decent chance of birdie.
Good luck to all for the final 2 rounds

9 bogeys and a dbl bogey in 4 rounds... Just could not put anything together this week.. I did get a luck ace though on hole 6 - round 3 Finished on -31.. Well done to all the guys who are performing so well.. Steve Lillico is looking mighty strong up front. This would be some tournament to claim as a first win! Go Steve!
