Only managed 1 round so far due to work. Shot 63 very pleased. Made some really great putts to save par, most of my birdies were quite close which is what I was hoping for. Hoping I can keep it going for round 2.

Had a pretty solid round. Played the front 9 at -6, missing a birdie on #9 barely. Had one hiccup on #10 where I barely came up short on the green, bounced the hill. My second shot was a flop, ran over the hole on the way up and back and actually glanced off the pin on the way back. It rolled to the edge of the green and I missed the chip. Took a bogey there. I think I was lucky that it hit the cup/pin twice, otherwise it might have spun back off the green. It was an odd shot as I have played that shot a half dozen times and never got that type of spin. Oh well.
Played the back 9 solidly, only missing two putts I should have made. I even birdied #11 which is always a highlight. Went for the green in two on #15 and was about a half-foot short of a perfect shot. I managed to flop up for the birdie. #16 got a little lucky, hit long and right and it rolled back to 2 feet of the cup. #17 I missed a chip I'm usually very good at, had to settle for par. On #18 I finally went over the hill at the top and came up under the hole. I think I have actually hit that shot 2 times out of 24 plays. Straight in birdie putt.
-11 (61) for the round with that one bogey. I'm very happy as I was aiming for -8.
Going to practice for round 2 now.

BTW a big, huge shoutout to Brionne. Playing with you over the last 2 months has really helped improve my game. Watching your thought process and being able to bounce ideas and discuss the game really is most beneficial. You still putt 5x better than I do and your consistency is normally well above mine, but I can say without a doubt, that you have helped me turn my game around. Second thanks to Doyley for that wonderful chart of his. I took the liberty to break the yardage from a full shot to 1st grid in loft by adding .75, .5 and .25 yardage. That has really helped me nail down the exact yardage I want to hit. Now I need to work on putting and consistency, tho my chipping is awesome!! Right Brionne?

Second round completed this morning shot a 64. Pretty much the same as round 1. Still have not birdied 15 though! -17 through two rounds.

Was sitting -3 through 9 in round 1, but only made it to the 18th tee at -4. I was pushing to birdie 18 but put my drive in the bunker, and left two more in the greenside bunker to finish a disappointing -3.
My round was in reverse. I was at -1 through 9, but managed to make it to 18 at -4 again. This time I was able to make a clutch birdie on 18 to finish the back 9 at -4 and -5 for the round.
Sitting at -8 through Friday, I think I'm going to be sweating out the cut. I really would like to be at my goal of -10 to feel safer, or even minus -9 without that bogey at 18 on Thursday.

65 63 60 66 -34 total My goal was to make the cut by posting -12 (as I think cut could be that low), succeeded with solid round 2 to be at -16 after 2. Round 3 and I came out firing. Birdie 1, tap in eagle on 2(missed albatross a foot right), birdie 3, par 4 and birdie 5. Shot -7 front side and kept score ticking over on back. Was -12 on last tee. Hit a 96% shot into a 6mph headwind and left myself 204yds out. Worked out with elevation and wind if was playing 226 to hole in between clubs. Hit 5wd and ball pitched soft and rolled to back fringe.... 7yd downhill chip for a 59..... Missed 3" left... Par. So close yet stoked at round score. Round 4 I was still buzzing after round 3.... Should have had a break. -2 after 9 with 3 shots that were like a yard off being within a few feet of hole and instead made me scramble for par. Onto backside and had a nice chip in on 12 and eagled 13 to go -5. Par on 15 with poor birdie putt. Birdie 16 with a slick downhill putt as my ball hung up high on bank behind hole another yard off being spot on for 17th and settled for par missing chip. Last hole and I stupidly miss calculated by 10yds and plugged in bunker on approach. Flopped out and scrambled par *sigh* -18 weekend and hopefully a top 20 score. Who knows!! I'll take it though

Had a fun little experience in round 1. Was -5 with a birdie putt, missed two in a row that looked like they should have gone in, no lip out, just kept going. The next FOUR putts I watched on replay and the ball was going right over the hole as if it was just part of the green...at first it was irritating, but then it became comical. Don't think I've ever laughed like that playing any video game. Shut off the console, restarted, and sank it for a nice 11. Didn't matter in the long run because I don't think I would have made the cut, but I thought it was a fun little tale of the golf gods smiting me for something..what I did to have them hate me so fiercely I haven't figured out, but I clearly pissed someone off haha! Enjoy rounds 3 and 4 peeps (the grossest of the easter candy options) and see you next week

If so upload it so can see what HB make of it I actually didn't record it (which instantly makes this sound like nothing more than an excuse haha so now you have to question whether or not you'll take the word of a complete stranger as fact--ahh sociological phenomenons) because I had some buddies over and we were all laughing about it. With all the commotion, I forgot to shout out "xbox record that {expletive}". Wish I had, that way we could have all laughed at my misfortunes. Misery loves company! Personally, I think it had something to do with my own console, connection, etc and not a widespread issue

Okay a simple question...when are the round 1&2 rounds due by?
I thought with the new format of moving everything up one day, it would then be due by Wednesday 11:59PM EST, but the countdown clock on the TGC main page says 2 days 3 hours + which would make it Thursday at 11:59PM EST.
Can an admin clarify? Just want to make sure that countdown timer is correct.
Thanks!

I guess this answers this question:
"This will remove the overlap so that events will be completed before anyone plays a round on the next event. There will still be 5 days to complete your first two rounds. You'll have Friday and Saturday to complete the final two rounds if you choose to wait."

Started off well, was -7 thru 12 in round1. Then put two in the drink on 13 after hitting the trees on the left. Limped in at -7 first round. Round2 started horrible, was +1 thru 8 and managed to come back and finish -4. -11 total. Probably not going to make it.
Oh well, hopping onto a plane tomorrow and will be at Augusta Thursday to watch the real pros.

Okay a simple question...when are the round 1&2 rounds due by? Do you not see the countdown timer on the main page (under Active Events)? Just checking - if it's not working we'll fix it.
