Notes Full Platinum tour size at 76 while Elite/Kinetic set to 150 each. First six CC flights set to 135 and last six set to 130. Gave out 249 promotions (had to shoot even par or better) in total. Remember that we process the normal golf week first - so there are a lot of promotions there - then we finalize the promotion leaderboard. So it's possible some of you can get 2 promotion emails.

TGCT Promotion Event #4 - Slots available (TBA)
Ideal tour sizes: This promo event is going to be an interesting one as it's the first one after the release of EA PGA Tour. Our numbers usually dip when the weather turns nice in North America (our largest player base). This season we also are taking a hit from some leaving to play the other game. This means we'll likely go with lower ideal tour numbers so that we don't break the Challenge Circuit by pulling too many members out. As always, play all 4 rounds if you'd like a good chance to promote up - especially the further down the tours you currently sit. Still looking at around 200 promotions as an ideal target.

Promotion Event #4 resultsEnded up with 270 promotions - we've topped up the Elite and Kinetic tours to 150 each. CC flights have dipped to about 91 each. Always want to be top heavy so the CC flights are a bit lower than normal.

Overview
Promotion events are a quick way to move up the tours with good play. Everyone outside of the Platinum tour (on our main tours) is eligible so make sure to join the TGCT (Special Events) society and play if you're looking to move up! - TGCTours (Special Events) society is hosting the event
Each tour will be monitored for active users. If the average field size is below the ideal field size (see below) we'll add those slots to the Promotional Event. - We'll do our best to ensure that following a Promotion Event each tour/flight will meet the ideal field size going forward.
- All active members with a tour card will be auto-registered
- Participation is optional
- Platinum players are excluded since they can not promote any further
- you can play both your regular tour event and the promotion event during the same week
- you can promote through multiple flights/tours with good play
- you can not be demoted
- Regular week is finalized first (to get up-to-date tour cards) then Promotion Event is finalized
- 3-Click Tour and TST are not eligible

Question...
I'm currently in CC-F and will be promoted to CC-E for the event at The Elevens Club this week.
If I played well enough in the Promo Event could I be promoted to D straight away without earning enough promo marks in E ??

No limits to how many tours you can jump in a promo event. |

Couple things of note this go around: 1. Platinum is overfull so only 1 slot available 2. Challenge Circuit had a tough course this week which results in lower participation - made doing the promo numbers difficult so we played it safe and had less promotion slots available than normal. 3. 96 total promotions with the Kinetic Tour seeing the biggest influx (42 new golfers next week - good luck!)
