TGCT Promotion Event #6 - Slots available (TBA)
Ideal tour sizes: We're struggling with keeping the tours full - going to have to play this one by ear - but we'll likely be trimming down our ideal tour sizes so that we don't break the Challenge Circuit. Is the need for the larger 10/20% demotion mark lines still needed for the Pro Tours? |

Overview
Promotion events are a quick way to move up the tours with good play. Everyone outside of the Platinum tour (on our main tours) is eligible so make sure to join the TGCT (Special Events) society and play if you're looking to move up! - TGCTours (Special Events) society is hosting the event
Each tour will be monitored for active users. If the average field size is below the ideal field size (see below) we'll add those slots to the Promotional Event. - We'll do our best to ensure that following a Promotion Event each tour/flight will meet the ideal field size going forward.
- All active members with a tour card will be auto-registered
- Participation is optional
- Platinum players are excluded since they can not promote any further
- you can play both your regular tour event and the promotion event during the same week
- you can promote through multiple flights/tours with good play
- you can not be demoted
- Regular week is finalized first (to get up-to-date tour cards) then Promotion Event is finalized
- Beer League and TST are not eligible
TGCT Promotion Event #1 - Slots available (TBA)
Ideal tour sizes: We'll be increasing the size of Platinum, Elite and Kinetic. The trickle down effect will be quite large so if you are in a lower Challenge Circuit flight and are looking to move up, play all 4 rounds regardless of how you think you're shooting. You'd be surprised how many promotions we'll give out this event. There will be a ton of movement after this event. NotesThis our first Promotion Event on PGA Tour 2K23 for this season - There will be more slots available than most people are used to. If you are looking to move up, make sure to complete all 4 rounds!
Tiebreakers
- Lowest 4th round score, then 3rd, 2nd, 1st
- If still tied, count-back from H18 in R4

This has probably been addressed already, but where can you find a qualifying leaderboard.
Another point while I'm here. If HB want us to use the Career mode, which is an improvement, they have to fix up the stuttering. I don't play any more. It's that bad it makes you ill trying to play it.

No r1-2 Thursday play requirements?
How many pro cards available?
Saw posts that mentioned pretty sure no early round requirements, but trying to confirm.
Another post that looked like 2 plat, 35 Elite and 27 kinetic slots but couldn't tell if that info was for peevious promo or this one.

Not sure how many pro cards - likely quite a few Elite and Kinetic. Platinum is full - so likely 2 max there. No R1/R2 deadline for Promo events. Those numbers you posted were likely from Promo Event #1 - never know until I start finalizing how many spots are available. |

Summary
Notes Bit tougher to process this one since we're in the middle of the holidays so we had a natural dip in numbers with everyone busy. Didn't fill the Elite/Kinetic tours up full as I anticipate the numbers to bounce back in the new year. Adjusted the CC flights a bit lower as well as they had a tougher course which usually sees participation drop a bit as well. All in all, ended up with 174 promotions from this event. Remember that we process the normal golf week first - so there are a lot of promotions there - then we finalize the promotion leaderboard. So it's possible some of you can get 2 promotion emails.

I played last version of PGA 2k on PS4, Just got new version on Xbox series S. I forget how to join the right league. I did register for the qualifier but I don't know where to go to play it. I know i sound like a dumb dumb but i like playing the game even though I suck but I enjoy this society just cant remember where to go. Any help would be appreciated.
