Do we have a beat on how many spots are open on each tour? I am in Elite and I am in ok shape through 2, but I know there are usually only a few spots for plat. If its still only 1 or 2 it may decide if its worth playing round 4 if/when I crash back down to earth. If it hasn't been calculated that's cool also, just curious. Thanks!

With the swing changes we are seeing lower numbers - plus the fact we have 2 pretty hard courses on Elite and Kinetic this week - expect more than in the previous 2. My guess will be around 300+ promotions. It's always worth playing all 4 rounds- even when you think there's no chance - you never know with promo events.
That said - in your case the platinum tour is still fairly full so I'm not sure if it'll have more than the minimum 2 slots or not.

155 Platinum 135 Elite/Kinetic 90 CC
Those are the tour sizes I'm going to use. Probably best to just wait until I get the results out as it's a pretty involved process to sort through.

So is it safe to play my CCA event this week. What happens if they say I’m promoted to kinetic or higher Monday? Does that mean the rounds I completed are null and void ?

Yes - and you'd then have to play your new tour's rounds (although you can of course play those in advance as well)

Apologize if this has been answered elsewhere.....but did promos increase because less people have been playing? Or were they looking to get to a certain number of active players as opposed to a total number counting those who have basically stopped playing?

Usually depends on the top 3 Tours. Numbers were down which opened up more spots.
