Season 11, week 4
Already massively lagging behind this week so I'll keep things short this time so we can head into a new week already.
Lofty Expectations with the big win of the week over The Jersey Rockin' Heartbreakers, 19-5. Anderegg and Thomas with 4 points.
Walk Into a Par over Balls Deep 17.5-6.5. Rienzo with 4.
Plat and the Wet Wigs beat The Smashed Drivers 14-10.
Designated Drivers get one over Blue Bear Nuts 13.5-10.5.
These Boots barely sneak by Tee Breakers 13-11.
Top score(s): Gilmore -66 4 point club: Anderegg, Thomas, Rienzo
Leaderboard after week 4:
1. (+2) Lofty Expectations 62.5 points / -1113 total under par 2. (NC) Designated Drivers 60.5 / -1111 3. (-2) Tee Breakers 58.5 / -1141 4. (NC) These Boots 53 / -1133 5. (+1) Walk Into a Par 51.5 / 1142 6. (-1) Balls Deep 41.5 / -1113 7. (NC) The Smashed Drivers 41 / -1046 8. (NC) Blue Bear Nuts 39.5 / -1028 9. (+1) Plat and the Wet Wigs 39 / -1068 10. (-1) The Jersey Rockin' Heartbreakers 33 / -978
Sky Blue Tee (MVP) leader after week 4: Melius 15/16 points
Week 5. We need no introductions for this one, it's a TST staple headed into CC for some reason. TPC Scottsdale, official course in game. If you have not played this course yet... what have you been playing?
Here's hoping this recap can be up in a better time next week! Cheers, good luck.

Season 11, week 5
Halfway there, and to celebrate we have to take the tiebreaker for top recap honors! Two same wins but because they won with more strokes under par, Blue Bear Nuts gets first honors by defeating Walk Into a Par 17-7, 286-251. 6-0 sweep in last round made sure this was as clear is it was, and so did the efforts of the trio with 4 points for the team: they were Robertson, Aerts, and... well, some guy.
As hinted, another 17-7 win this week by Plat and the Wet Wigs over These Boots, they only won the shots 279-259 however so they go second. They only won round 4 5-1 anyway so that's another thing against them to go second! Anyway, good weeks for Taylor and Wahlig at 4, let's mention Everard for 3.5 too so we can have 2 almost similar recaps to start with.
More tie breaking! Or Tee Breaking, as the Breakers win 16-8 over Balls Deep, combining for 263 under par against their opposition's 234. No one scored 4 here, so is this even worth the tie break? What am I even basing those on anymore?
I must be smashed right now, oh and speaking of, The Smashed Drivers beat The Jersey Rockin' Heartbreakers 16-8, again, tiebreaking here for first honors. This one was 254-220, bigger win but my tiebreak was total under par, not a win margin! Or 4 pointers, as we have two here in Bordeaux and Ruhl.
And finally the only match with a unique scoreline (wow!) as Designated Drivers drive Lofty Expectations down a little with a 14-10 win. Close contest with all rounds going pretty evenly, and shown on points scored per person too as no one steamrolled the competition in this one.
Top score(s): Hernandez -62 4 point club: Bordeaux, Ruhl, Robertson, Pihlman, Aerts, Taylor, Wahlig
Leaderboard at halfway+ stage of the season, seems like a tiny gap is forming between 3 and the rest but all to play for still:
1. (+2) Tee Breakers 74.5 points / -1404 total under par 2. (NC) Designated Drivers 74.5 / -1374 3. (-2) Lofty Expectations 72.5 / -1361 4. (NC) These Boots 60 / -1392 5. (NC) Walk Into a Par 58.5 / -1393 6. (+1) The Smashed Drivers 57 / -1300 7. (+1) Blue Bear Nuts 56.5 / -1314 8. (+1) Plat and the Wet Wigs 56 / -1347 9. (-3) Balls Deep 49.5 / -1347 10. (NC) The Jersey Rockin' Heartbreakers 41 / -1198
Sky Blue Tee (MVP) leader after week 5: Melius 17.5 / 20 points
Week 6 is upon us: from one real course to another... sort of. This one is a digital restoration of a course that currently exists (I think, I cannot confirm as a Finnish person) but restored to glory days past. The course is supposedly Brainerd GC in Chattanooga, Tennessee in the US of A, but since it's the original version it's simply Chattanooga Muni by the one, the only... Craig LeVasseur, or CLV as some know him. Short course at 6400 yards so you probably know what that means... greens are not easy. But you can do it, and if not then Plat players have it easier with an even shorter course this week so take it as you will.
Cheers, good luck!

Season 11, week 6
We've got a tight week in terms of winning margins, except for this first one where we've got Designated Drivers parking themselves over These Boots by a score of 18.5-5.5. 50 shot total difference which was probably most to cause a bigger rift. Notables here are the 4 pointers from Moore and Mitchell, and also Stivers with top score of the week at -65 as a sub this week. What a way to come in!
Now to the smaller margins. Lofty Expectations hand The Smashed Drivers a rude awakening as they get fined a loss of 13.5-10.5. 13 shot difference here, 6-0 final round to turn the tide for the Expectations at the last minute. Martin with a 4 for the winners too.
Two ties next but we go with total shots as a tiebreaker, and coincidentally the match order, as in match week 6-B we have Walk Into a Par tippy toeing over Plat and The Wet Wigs 13-11. There are no 4s here, although barely as Gaudreault scored 3.5 points. Notably, the winning team shot worse by a total of 275-270 but ended up more fortunate with point scoring. And speaking of that...
Another situation of that right next door as match week 6-C brings us a win for Balls Deep over The Jersey Rockin' Heartbreakers also by a score of 13-11. Shots are 263-257 for the losing side, yet the point flip goes to the winners. 4s here are also split: winners have Webb with the 4, whilst the other side has Dietrich getting a 4 to celebrate his new full time position.
Closest match comes from right at the top of the sheet as 6-A sees Blue Bear Nuts barely squeak through Tee Breakers by a margin of 12.5-11.5. 5 shots the difference between the two flipped to the winners, and the only 4 here is Balcombe repping the pool 6s as the carrying force for the winners here. Notably, the comeback was almost complete as the final round finished 5-1 for the Breakers, which led to a very narrow defeat in the end.
Top score(s): Stivers -65 4 point club: Balcombe, Dietrich, Webb, Moore, Mitchell, Martin
Leaderboard after week 6. 3 weeks left and 72 total points up for grabs for all teams, as noticeable differences are forming between the tee winning spots and the rest:
1. (+1) Designated Drivers 93 points / -1663 total under par 2. (-1) Tee Breakers 86 / -1647 3. (NC) Lofty Expectations 86 / -1622 4. (+1) Walk Into a Par 71.5 / -1663 5. (+2) Blue Bear Nuts 69 (nice) / -1562 6. (NC) The Smashed Drivers 67.5 / -1548 7. (+1) Plat and the Wet Wigs 67 / -1622 8. (-4) These Boots 65.5 / -1631 9. (NC) Balls Deep 62.5 / -1604 10. (NC) The Jersey Rockin' Heartbreakers 52 / -1461
Sky Blue Tee (MVP) leader after week 6: Melius 20/24 points
Final third of season 11 begins here, this is also one of the most important times of the actual golf season. One may even say it's the most august of times of it. So of course, leading up to that one tournament that shall not be named, a tune up week is here for week 7. It takes us to Port Fisherton by Thomas Hammond, which after fact checking this one is the first time his course shows up on tour. Also, this one's fictional so after 2 weeks of realism we're back to the courses we usually play around here. Also, if you notice something odd this week at round 2, you're not on the wrong tour here: CC uses a very fast green round this week, whereas no other one (unless TST does it which I can't confirm through weather report, or if default is about as fast somewhere else) even dares to do it. So if you like your greens spicy fast, this might be your chance. If you don't... well, best of luck.
Thanks for the timely reporting last week, as a reward (and totally not because I'm up too early or messed up thanks to the time going forward an hour here in the rest of the world as well) I decided to get this done as soon as possible. It's also lengthier because I don't feel the rush for it this time. Cheers for that, and good luck on the final week before that one tourney that is not nameable!

Season 11, week 7
Let's start from the bottom of the sheet this week, as match week 7-E produced a big win of the week where Lofty Expectations nail Balls Deep to the ground by a score of 18.5-5.5 and thus keep themselves tightly in championship contention with 2 weeks to go. The duo of Melius and Anderegg score 4 points for their team, and especially the first mentioned is having lofty expectations of his own to secure the MVP title for the season.
More championship indicators in our next match here as Designated Drivers continue to lead the way. Walk Into a Par got dragged out 17.5-6.5, while Budel and Mitchell catch the drinks with their 4s. The drivers are in the driver's seat for now, but with 2 weeks to go, can they hang tight?
In a more mid-pack fight, Plat and the Wet Wigs soak up a W over Blue Bear Nuts, kicking them in the nether regions 16.5-7.5. Gilmore leads the way as top gun pool 1 player of the team with 4 points, whilst still holding out hope to fight for tees this season.
The Smashed Drivers put up their own boots to the ground, while These Boots are no match for theirs by a score of 15.5-8.5. No 4s to report here, the winners are boosting their own chances to keep gunning for tees even though as we'll soon find out, might be a tough ask still. But who knows.
And in the final act of the week, implications towards the top end as one of the top teams takes an L. Tee Breakers lose out to The Jersey Rockin' Heartbreakers 13-11, potentially striking a dagger in the heart for championship hopes. Not too far back yet, but now needs things to happen. Dietrich continues his good full time form with 4 for the winning breakers.
Top score(s): Gilmore -63 4 point club: Gilmore, Budel, Mitchell, Dietrich, Melius, Anderegg
Leaderboard, week 7/9. 48 points left in it with gaps looming to make week 9 a bit flat if things don't go the right way in week 8:
1. (NC) Designated Drivers 110.5 points / -1951 total under par 2. (+1) Lofty Expectation 104.5 / -1896 3. (-1) Tee Breakers 97 / -1910 4. (+3) Plat and the Wet Wigs 83.5 / -1906 5. (+1) The Smashed Drivers 83 / -1824 6. (-2) Walk Into a Par 78 / -1917 7. (-2) Blue Bear Nuts 76.5 / -1807 8. (NC) These Boots 74 / -1888 9. (NC) Balls Deep 68 / -1844 10. (NC) The Jersey Rockin' Heartbreakers 65 / -1724
Sky Blue Tee (MVP) leader through week 7: Melius 24/28 points
Week 8 is at... someplace somewhere. Sure, it's Lone Grove Golf Course, HB official course but... I dunno, it seems familiar to something, without being that something to the exact. Oh well, can't be that major of a deal if I can't tell what that something is. Got a feeling that something similar is seen around a lot this week, for some reason or the other. Can't quite put my finger as to why though. It's a masterful course though... I guess.
Have fun out there!

Hi All, Excuse my intrusion into the upper echelons of TGCT but apparently Kevin up mup kupen nup was so desperate for a sub for last week he's had to ask a peasant to contribute. More likely to be serving the Posh boys than eating with them but for one week only here's my HTF debut. You are most welcome to view my 2nd Round Ace featured on a TGCT website near you

Season 11, week 8
Massively late this week. Just getting this out of the way so we can move to the last week of the season.
Walk Into a Par smashes The Smashed Drivers 17-7. Rienzo with 4 points for the winners.
Tee Breakers knock down Lofty Expectations 15.5-8.5.
Balls Deep plant themselves on These Boots 15-9. Sauce with a saucy 4.
Plat and the Wet Wigs designate the narrowest win over Designated Drivers 12.5-11.5.
The Jersey Rockin' Heartbreakers break into a tough tie with Blue Bear Nuts 12-12, winning a technical tiebreaker of 244-231. Wilcox with 4.
Top score(s): Gilmore -67 4 point club: Rienzo, Sauce, Wilcox
Leaderboard before the last week of the season. With 7 teams in a mathematical chance of getting 24 points to still get something this season but honestly, 3 teams are mostly in it to win something barring any miracles or really low scoring weeks while some with very high ones:
1. (NC) Designated Drivers 122 points / -2238 total under par 2. (NC) Lofty Expectations 113 / -2159 3. (NC) Tee Breakers 112.5 / -2197 4. (NC) Plat and the Wet Wigs 96 / -2193 5. (+1) Walk Into a Par 95 / -2209 6. (-1) The Smashed Drivers 90 / -2094 7. (NC) Blue Bear Nuts 88.5 / -2038 8. (NC) These Boots 83 / -2169 9. (NC) Balls Deep 83 / -2133 10. (NC) The Jersey Rockin' Heartbreakers 77 / -1968
Sky Blue Tee (MVP) leader after week 8: (new leader) Mitchell 25/32 points, 6 people with theoretical chance to win
Week 9 of season 11 and thus final week takes us to Jacquard Causeway by Charlie Davies. The guy behind the opening CC course of the entire TGC Tours season (Elstead Heath GC), this will act as the final fighting ground of season 11 of HTF. Speaking of which, the ones to mostly watch this week and ESPECIALLY the one big one that might decide it all:
1. Designated Drivers vs. 3. Tee Breakers (the one to win it all?) 5. Walk Into a Par vs. 2. Lofty Expectations (can the Expectations be met?) 10. The Jersey Rockin' Heartbreakers vs. 4. Plat and the Wet Wigs (are the Wet Wigs slippery enough to steal a tee from long?)
Cheers, best of luck this last week of the HTF season!
