Only have R1 in the books so far. Finished it with a 68 (-4). On the one hand I'm fine with that, as I've birdied more holes (7) than on any practice round. On the other hand I'm a bit pissed, as I've bogeyed more holes (3) than on any practice round. I hope that R2 is going to be a bit better. Would love to stay at -10 after two rounds. We'll see... Went on with the tournament yesterday. R2 was more then less a copy of R1. I had troubles on the front nine, going to the 10th tee with Even again. Made two birdies and an eagle on the 15th, scoring another 68 (-4). So I'm sitting at -8 after R2, hoping that is going to be enough to make the cut. I'm really curious what it will be in the end, but right now it looks like this score might be enough to make it into the weekend. Went directly into R3 after that, and this time I managed to go a little bit lower. -3 on the front nine, -3 on the back nine, total of 66 (-6) in the clubhouse. That was a round of golf I was satisfied with, considering the given conditions. R1: 68 (-4) R2: 68 (-4) R3: 66 (-6)
Total 202 (-14) after three rounds R4: 69 (-3)
Total 271 (-17) The fourth round was exactely the opposite of all the rounds I've played before: Very good start this time on the front nine (-3 after 6 holes), but then it started to get nasty for whatever reason, and I only managed to play Even Par on the rest of the round. Generally speaking I'm happy I could stay in the "Sixties" over four rounds on a quiet difficult course. On the downside, it seems that my putting/short game is just not good enough (yet?) to compete against the (very) best players we have on the tour. Ball striking generally and where I end up with the rest of my shots seems okay. Hopefully this final score will be enough to make another Top20 at least. Well... I'll move forward and try to improve even more. I already did a lot since the day I came here.

Saved my best for last and shot a roller coaster of a round and wound up with a -7 65. First time my 4th round was the best. The chipping samurai was in full effect, banging home 5 more chips, including an eagle from the bunker on 17, and my 3rd straight birdie chip on 18. It really took me all 4 rounds of how to wrap my head around playing the course. My own personal strategy was to try to leave the ball in a position just off of the green where I could line up a chip. I also switched to the non-deaf golf balls so my frantic pleas of stop! stop! stop! didn't go unheeded. If I could only get a redo of round 2 I could possibly cracked the top 10, but at least this will be my first full field top 25 on the Euro Tour. I feel I'm in the right group of players.

Looks like my 11 year old son Zack might squeak out a Top 10 as he sits in 8th. He did finish in 3rd earlier this year in a Euro event but all the top dogs were playing in the Cadillac Championship. Pretty cool!

Pretty cool! That's awesome! I'm trying to get my wife to play. How do the admins think about two people playing on the same IP address? I know if you get two screen names that shouldn't be an issue but I don't know the rules for people from the same household.

I want the better graphics .

Looking good so far...
Seems my 69 in R4 only cost me 1-2 ranks on the leaderboard. That's a bit of a (positive) suprise to me.

Congrats n very well played to my auld buddy Andi 'he's only gone and won again' Smith on winning the Romeo y Julieta Championship by 1 stroke with a fabulous 34 under total!! It's great timing for Andi winnin this event, as he's hadn't had much to cheer about lately wit him being a liverpool fan in my eyes smiffers this win for u tops your win earlier in the season in South Africa..Simply because I felt the Shakespeare course was the toughest challenge we've faced by a considerable distance on the European tour so far this season n u tore it up so very well played again m8!!.. well played also to those of you who excelled on such a tough course and who finished in the top 10 including Mike Ballon who narrowly missed out on the win himself,Brionne Beaumont-Thomas,Ian Sweeney and Nathan Allen!! Next its the Masters!! good luck all!!
