Afternoon all,
I got 2K23 in December and didn’t want to over commit to societies. I’ve settled into the game and I’m in a couple of societies but would love a bit of Brew Crew action.
Is there any sort of reserve list? If a space becomes available, I’m well up for joining the party.
It seems many people are not enjoying 2K23 as much as 2k21. Weirdly, I’m the other way round. I know there are ‘issues’ but I find 2K23 so much more engaging, rewarding and enjoyable on the course. Maybe I’m some sort of masochist.
If you need a sub or there is a space, give me a shout.
Cheers.

PCSociety NameSoylent GreensAs usual I like to use default on round 1 to get a feel for the course and how it plays. Would have like to amp up the greens and winds but weather report doesn't have any fast or high winds listed 3 days. Random settings as per TGCTours weather report. No fast greens it seems. Will put in a round or two so you guys/Girls can have a person to chase and destroy on the LB. Speed golfed all 4 rounds to give everyone a score to chase if they decide to play. I gave up in round 2 when things happened. Quit aiming there for a while after and was just smashing it around to get it over with. Default greens did indeed have fast 155/159's so hopefully we see some fast in the event next week. Being the idiot I am I picked slow for round 4. I hate slow greens. 117/120. They mess with my head. /now off to do some Yale and Designers

xxdannyxxo This is the worst week I have had in this game in 3 months now. Yeah, I want to cry and quit but it's not really the game that I enjoy as much as the community. Between this Brew Crew, Forums, Twitch and Discord it just keeps the game alive. We are all pulling our hair out at times from this game and it's fun that we all understand this "pain" together. I hope you enjoy EA more but playing with EA gets boring for me after awhile messing with quitters and cheaters. You need a somewhat regulated community like this to keep it going. You need this community and board to listen and hear your gripes and nod in approval. You're not getting that with EA. But you got to do you and what you enjoy. I play with the X-Box Elite Series 2 and no way in H E Double Hockey Sticks is the wolverine better than this controller. The stick tension controller tool and option is the Bee's Knees! Wolverine ain't got that! Good Luck and Try to Have Fun and I'm waiting in the wings to take your spot when you need a break from the Crew! Fighting talk Pen Knight , love it. I'm also an xbox Elite series 2 guy, and I'm fearing we may be a little outnumbered in this society. All I'd say about the Elite series 2 controller is, it feels great, comfortable to hold, has the potential 100% to be the best controller out there. But man do these controllers break easily, I initially got an Elite controller when I was pretty devoted into COD & Fortnite and wanted the extra paddles at the back, but pretty much once a year I'd have to return them as the responsiveness of the buttons are always pretty awful from the get go and the left button always got jammed without failure. Maybe it was the way I played those shooter games, but for a controller that it is at the higher end of the market, you'd expect something more sturdy. sh%$, I'm not exactly helping us sell why the Elite controller is better than the Wolverine I haven't looked back since I started using the Elite series 2 for golf games after just using a normal s controller (luckily it doesn't really matter if your buttons are unresponsive in golf, as long as the analog sticks are working fine). It's a lot more comfortable to hold, and I much prefer the heaviness that it has and as you said having the stick tension is pretty cool. It would probably take a lot for me to consider separating from the Elite, but I'm intrigued to know how you find the Wolverine if you do try it out? Because, you clearly do love the controller, but if you came back and jumped on board the already pretty full Wolverine train, then that really would leave a lot of room for thought.... Sorry for all the spamming posts today, haven't been on the forums the last week and was also obviously trying to divert attention away from the Wolverine, without success.

Sorry for all the spamming posts today, haven't been on the forums the last week and was also obviously trying to divert attention away from the Wolverine, without success. Yeah, no worries. I dunno because I'm only using this controller for this game, so I don't run into the breakage problems because I'm not really using the bumpers and buttons very much and I'm not very hard on the stick or controller. Personally, I love this controller and took back the PS5 controller I was testing out because I couldn't make that work as good as this one. For me, it's about the tension control. that stiffness is a game changer for me in this game. It probably should be outlawed. The reason I hesitate with the Wolverine is because it doesn't have this feature and it is a much lighter controller. I'm kind of a big guy with big hands and the weight of the Elite 2 feels great but for me it could be a little wider, but I have no problem being a spokesperson for this controller and trying to upsell it over the Wolverine for the time being. I mean the name of this controller says it all... ELITE!
