I like playing your courses Les to be honest but since yesterdays patch it is not much fun playing firm fast greens with a default ball. Is the designers meta put the pins in the back of the green to stop low scores? I think when we go to the default ball in the Designer's Showcase the greens will be slowed down ? inflames47 asyoudo64 TimB🤔🤔🤔 |

Ross and I have done all our rangering with default ball. I think most times we at the fastest selected "fast" which is 155. I never had an issue when we did 155's. But not sure how many we chose to use the fast option on, can't remember. I'll let Ross chime in here as he may remember more and I'm about to go offline. Edited to add, whenever I selected fast, I always countered it with "moderate" or soft firmness. Can't say I remember us doing firm and fast as a combo. There will be some in the 160's, but like Tim I always use default and wouldn't suggest silly speeds. Any in the higher range are counterbalanced by a moderate setting. I have rangered some courses where a 155 feels quicker than a 171 just because of this. We try to leave Showcase courses as the Designer intended as much as possible. I think when we go to the default ball in the Designer's Showcase the greens will be slowed down ? inflames47 asyoudo64 TimB 🤔🤔🤔 hope so as some of us only play with default
i myself struggle in designers society but i plod on
todays course you had to think too much (wasnt ready for that)
for today as eg only scored +1 after a half decent CC round

Hey fellas. Just a friendly FYI, I snuck home for a day or two and playled my rounds, but you should still use the sub's rounds since that was the plan all along. Didn't want you to see me streaming tonight and thinking, what the $!%!? Starting Thursday, I will truly be gone and completely out of pocket, not to mention out of the country for all of next week. Made 2 attempts at exchanging 3 reds for a wedge red transition shaft. Both times said I was successful, both times shafted me 😉 with a timing red. Don't want that as it takes too much off power. Probably stupid doing it twice, but I thought I may have made a mistake, but no.
I grinded for days getting those reds and in one foul swoop, they're f$#%ing gone for something I don't want in seconds. Thanks heaps HB 😤😤😡😡
