Have a wee question - what is difference between Transition and Timing? Or what does it actually do ingame?

50 skill points , wow. Think I've got about 14 and the career mode is hurting me.

Have a wee question - what is difference between Transition and Timing? Or what does it actually do ingame? Transition is the time between the top of your backswing and starting down, it’s the white area on the swing meter. Timing is as it says the timing of your swing represented by the narrow white spot at the top of your feedback meter. That’s how I understand it

I'm officially done. Time to uninstall. (j/k) Going to reset and start over where I put them. I wasted 2 points on my irons splash shot perk. Don't use the splash so they are wasted points. Funny thing, that… your “wasted “splash points go toward the pitching wedge, which the game treats as an iron. So… Go figure!

Better transition stats will make the white power spot larger and therefore easier to hit your perfect power percentage.

And will timing fittings also make perfects easier to hit, or how does better timing fit in?

I've changed my archetype from woodsman to rhythm and fitted the three orange fittings that I had lying around. It seems to be doing something as my scores are getting better, even had three rds under par, the best of being 3 under, admittedly while doing career on easy, but it's still with master settings. Just been and looked at the rest of the fittings and splashed out on some more fittings which hopefully should see more improvement. Trying to concentrate on improving my natural ability of not swinging straight by adding the fittings that will bump this up. About half way through the levels at 25. Leaving the skills alone at the moment, not sure if their worth bothering with as they come and go and mess with what I've gotten used to .

Yes, I assume better timing stats will mean a bigger white perfect window and possibly also bigger grey fast and slow areas.

I reckon the column 7 'always on' skills are worth having Paul, as they give you a swing path boost (2 points) ot timing boost (3 points) on shots from the tee/fairway.
