Cool I just got my 1'st playoff round. Went two holes where my AI opponent apparently chipped in to win. Though I didn't see it (have all ai replays turned off) Still though. Very cool addition to the game. Also just got my 1'st red drop in a long time, and what I was wishing for. Iron shaft that has nice transition on it. Though my timing took a -3 hit. Actually finding transition to matter more for me but will see. May have to revert. I wish they had a way to lock a fitting so you don't accidently delete or exchange one you may want later Also if anyone care You all know that famous course in Georgia that we aren't allowed to mention. It's now in game by I don't know who. Here is the name A Tradition Like No Other It's a nice recreation. Until my favorite designer (one of them) CLV releases his. This is how I'm going to go out Sudden Death. lol  /ok I just drew Tiger as my rival in year two of my career. Time to show him how to play golf. |

Carol did you win the red faced driver in one of the challenges Stealth Driver Les. I'm now playing with the same driver I use in real golf. Callaway Rogue ST. Same putter as well. Scotty Cameron. My mums irons are not in the game that’s what I play with when I play 😜 Edit: I’ve got an original Zebra putter as well that’s not in there either. |

I think the colors change depending on where you fit them ( head, shaft, grip) so far working well for me as far as fittings and club selections I really haven't much of a gap that is easily managed by loft or deloft etc. This is what I currently have with fittings I have selected and so far I am happy with how they are performing. Carol, I think the ultimate aim is to get the legendary red/orange fitting on the head, shaft, grip of all your clubs. Then you maxed out your fittings. It remains to be seen whether or not there are multiple better or worse legendary fittings in which case you fit the ones that suit your game best. Power, timing whatever. |

That was my problem, I got too excited about a +12 power Iron head but few days later got a +8 timing which I think will be better suited. I am sure there will be a 'meta' that someone will claim is the best but do agree that it comes down to personal preference and style of play. |

On fittings, Respawn's video is worth a watch (16.14 to 22.22). Also note the top pinned comment from Craig Chapman from HB.
Grey - Common Green - Uncommon Blue - Rare
Purple - Epic Orange - Legendary.
What I have been doing is upgrading any Common and Uncommons that I get so that I just have Rare, Epic and Legendary in stock. As Craig C says in his comment, Rare/Epic/Legendary are all going to have a meaningful impact on your base club set.
For me, using Rhythm architype, my first priority is powering up my Driver from its base of 60 power / 274 yards carry. I currently have a Legendary Shaft (ooh er), Epic Grip and Rare Head which I think will take me up to 296 yards carry when I fit them. I will then be ready to launch my ball 300 yards into the water / trees / heavy rough / bunker!

You can even take three legendary fittings and exchange them for another one, what your hoping to get is a legendary with no minuses to it. They’re all random generated so in theory you can do this for the life of the game. |

Just what I need Kie! A legendary shaft!  Trouble is I'm 73 so probably wasted on me  Had a day off today so been grinding Career all day and finally spent my 50th point! Just need to find/earn/trade 3 more legendary fittings and I'm DONE with career mode for good. Ain't never going back! |

Just need to find/earn/trade 3 more legendary fittings and I'm DONE with career mode for good. Ain't never going back! I know what you mean Pete, I'm now level 39 and have done two seasons / two rounds of beating the rivals. Looking forward to getting to Level 50 and then taking a break from the grind! Looking forward to TGCT and TBC getting underway. |

I'm officially done. Time to uninstall. (j/k) Just hit level 50. All my points are used up. Just need to tweak things. Going to reset and start over where I put them. I wasted 2 points on my irons splash shot perk. Don't use the splash so they are wasted points. here is how I've divided mine up leaving my 7'th column wedge with one point as I prefer the always on transition as opposed to always on timing  All thats left for me is to grind fittings for all reds. |

What a feeling …… I’ve just had my first under par round on masters . A mighty -1. 😄🤣  Thanks Carol for the wee tip of trying to pause at the top of my swing . Made a huge difference. Still managing a few big slices and fades if you don’t fully concentrate |

Well my 1 orange legend is a topper. Problem is it's a hybrid topper :-)
So hell with it. The thing has replaced my far inferior 5 wood. Now I may have to use skills in the hybrid row.
