-1 first round at Riviera - some of those pin positions are borderline ridiculous, like so... Art Vandelay - do we need to post completed cards for the event in here or will you just pull them from the society? Cheers. Screenie of the 4 score recap will be just fine.

Having put through a couple dozen rounds on the new game I'm afraid I'm going to have to bow out of the Brew Crew. It's been a blast and I appreciate all the behind the scenes work that is put in. This version is just a complete downgrade from 2k21 and I don't think I'm going to be able to grind it out each week unless some major patches come out. That said if you're ever in a pinch and need a sub let me know, I'll still be around the forums as I plan on designing a few more tracks. Cheers. Art Vandelay SkyBlueBen prowse00 Bummed but you say there is a chance you return! We will keep you on the sub list and will look forward to your courses.

Played Rd1 of tours at -5. Should have been better but poor course management. Difference in tempo is quite clear but because of numbers who will struggle with master, I feel challenge will have to be pro. Lots will find it too easy but many more will not. The top players will then move up and the lower division folk wont get sick and jack it in. I am sticking with master as my personal set up but no issue if Doyley and co make it pro. I’ve been hoping to see CC go Master despite struggling myself but do wonder how the lower CC players are finding it. There’s no way you can have Pro difficulty on the Pro Tours so it remains to be seen if TGCT want multiple difficulties to retain numbers. I’d still like to see…. Platinum - Legend Elite/Kinetic - Master CC - split into a CC-Master and CC-Pro with no promotion/demotion between the two levels in CC. We know there are players of this game that want to play on the hardest level possible they’ve all made their voices heard. The plain fact is that many of us are struggling initially with the new game. I’m in agreement with you Ben Platinum - Legend Elite/Kinetic - Master CC - Pro but maybe leave some of the assists open rather than splitting CC. If you truly are good enough to play Legend difficulty then you will soon gravitate upwards if your not then you will stay where you are. Unfortunately we do know that the admins on TGC Tours don’t want to split the tours like that even though it’s the logical way to go.

I have to agree with you SkyBlueBen . The more you practice the more feel for the game you will get. It is a gentle back and smooth forward swing on controller for me hitting fairways. It really isn't the same motion as in 2k21. Those that struggle should be going to the range with haptic feedback and or distance control meters until they get the feel of how the new swing and putting is. I certainly miss a lot of close putts but I am getting the feel for it. Strugglers might try Rhythm architype. I also agree with Palo that the game has to be about enjoyment. This game is 1 week in and testing has just begun. Looking at the TGC tours leaderboards for CC which is set to pro, just reminds me of last game with people shooting unrealistic scores. TGC has the leaderboards up with the tests or are you talking about the in game console leaderboards?

I do like it when my tempo is good. Previously I was hitting like crap tempo all over place after applying some fittings. Restarted game and back to decent tempo. Weird that I have to do that sometimes! Hate the my player looks for women

I could see Plat being separate while everybody else is on masters. I feel Pro will be too easy and then you will have majority of the players griping about the cut lines. I’d do this Plat - Legend Elite, Kinetic, CC -Master Beer- Pro As your golfer improves master setting will be easier. And again, you will be slotted in the proper tier after qualifications. It may be painful initially but this new game allows you to put your golfer in a better position to do well with the fittings, ect…After a month or so the Beer league will obviously fill if people don’t get better in master. I just feel they have to go master with this new season.

They won’t even do that they will make everyone use Master difficulty except for say Beer league if they even run one this season and I think Beer league might even allow analogue and three click to exist together.

Art VandelayGot caught by the "clubs reset to default" glitch. Did not effect my play but effected my mood, was grumpy. Happy that it did switch back to my other clubs (had switched them back before starting the first round, happy it took for round 2).

Art VandelayFirst Pint - Second chunder Slight improvement over the 1st round. Did the front 9 in +4 which I was ok with then -8 on the back largely due to a triple on one of the holes. This is how the short game feels on Master presently - that blowout hole is always just around the corner

I had just started my 2nd round of the CC Pro test and on Hole 2 my 2nd shot rolled down a cliff. The drop put me on an island with just trees blocking my shot besides a slight opening and my 3 iron with the lie was only going to go 160 and I needed all of 225. After 2 attempts I just took the unplayable. I’m never going to take their drop, I’ll just go back to where my original shot was and go from there. Now I ruined my round. Why couldn’t they fix these drops? It s only a test but I unwanted to see my scores with pro difficulty with my golfers current fittings. I’ll just wipe out the +7 it gave me but I still see my crummy score , lol

Yes that is an annoying glitch, it seems to help doing what Rob posted in another thread.

Terrible tempo today for me in my 2 career rounds. Refuse to calibrate again and just hoping that hasn't reset like my clubs :-)
