Walk of Shame Season 9, Week 3 or Make Mine Extra Spicy 🌶 The annual (but not seasonal) return to the Huy Fong Foods Classic, historical for being one of the two events in my TGCT career that I’ve ever won, back in the TGC2 day, and sweeter by having edged out Art @arthurvabdekay in the final round to claim the title. Art accepted his defeat with grace and dignity, and we have been thick as thieves ever since.  Fast forward to today, playing That Girl from Ipamema, where if your drive goes stray, you can kiss that birdie goodbye. And to make matters saltier, only TWO par fives, which is a crime in and of itself. That said, I nearly eagled both of them.  Needed to go big on the front nine, for the back nine is a tricky sort. Failed on both counts, Art. Rd 1: -4  I’ll do better next time, Dom  |

Art VandelayHad high hopes this week. Thinking about it I have high hopes every week but seem to fall into the same trap once TGC rounds are in my head. R1 -3 R2 -4 R3 -6 R4 -6

Art Vandelay SkyBlueBen PUB CRAWL Very frustrating course...front nine plays relatively easy, while back nine is much tougher. Was 11 under on front 9, 4 under on back 9. Great looking course with tough greens.

I have to say ive never been a fan of Par 3 courses as tend to struggle a lot the case today was way too many grey fasts nearly had a HIO on 1st hole but not to be then after all these fasts i finally hit a nice shot on 16 for a nice roll up to hole & in for a HIO
ball breaker =bottoms up
have done round 1 of tgtc too but will post that when rd 2 done

Art VandelayManaged to get my first two rounds in Round 1 -5 under Round2 -6 under rather disappointed with this one I was -8 after 11 then had three bogies and a bird in the last 7 holes.

Art Vandelay Pub Crawl -14 My rounds this week were not stellar. Did ok (relatively speaking) on R1, R2, and R4. In R3, the combination of firm greens and high winds did me in. I must have had 5, 6 or 7 bogeys in that round. Couldn't get close enough to hole when landed on green and ended up with a whole mess of birdie shots like this one:  (I blobbed out my ghost party to protect the innocent) My putts were solid but at 50 ft I tended to miss a lot by an inch or 2--then would keep rolling for another 10-15 ft. LOL Sometimes it's just like that I guess. Anyway...  R4 Scorecard (look Ma no bogeys!)  Oh well, Fiddle$hits...
