Art VandelayOFTR Local knowledge didn't help much. This was a beautiful course and really does have a Cape Wickham feel about it. Except for the Bass Strait 40 knot winds 🤣. On a serious note, I hope everyone is okay in the Northern Hemisphere. Weather conditions look terrible. Stay safe everyone.  Blowing a hoolie and raining sideways down in the north of Devon. Food for cats by cats roundsArt Vandelay The right trigger on my xbox one controller has become a tad sticky over the past few weeks resulting in a fair number of red fasts under heavy braking in Forza. Bought a new one earlier this week and tentatively noticed less reddies during a test round or 2 on the golf course as an added bonus. This morning i took it out in anger for the first time, just 1 red swing in rounds 1 and 2 respectively, 4 in round 3 and nada in 4. That adds up to what i normally would get on the front 9 of my 1st round. Early days, but a crap load less frustration today. Wish my scores reflected same, was just so-so tbh ooooh, just noticed now for the 1st time after uploading scorecard screenie i broke 60. Take a picture, make a poster! Pro Tours, prepare to be boarded     Did you get the Series X controller Marc? Happy to see the red fasts eliminated from the pixel golf. Obviously keep the fasts for Forza. Good luck when you reach the Posh Boy tours!! |

Rum Raiders vs Dickens Cider CasualsThe Cider boys were all over the Rum Bums this week putting up a 4 point lead going into the 3rd and 4th rounds. Captain Ashton had to change his strategy and bring in the some new blood to try and a bite out of those DC boys and put up some points for the Raiders Enter Celtic Wolf Celtic Wolf After doing some warm up, he was eager to get out on the course.  We're so glad you could attend and appreciate you jumping in mid week and having to rush through your rounds. Teammates were encouraged to 'Pat' him on the head, wish him good luck and welcome him on the Raiders team. Doe Coba was the star of the team this week, taking 5 points and winning all of his matches but unfortunately he and all of the Raiders had to deal with the depressed Fin, Palo who rarely is in single digits and scored -60 over 4 rounds He was last seen heading to the Funny Farm, where life is beautiful all the time. In fact, all of the Cider Boys were tip toeing thru the tulips as they held on to take down the Raiders . This was by no means a blow out, and Rum Raiders are still a team to watch in the coming weeks. Proof of that was seeing Les lessangster winning his 4th round match play against Capt. Mark IGolfBad , and also Winning most points in the OFTR rounds this week.
Edit post to note evilgrin72 blobbed this week, ouchers for him Dickens Cider Casuals Win 17-13Grip it and Sip it vs Bourbon Bandits2nd place team, Grip it boys were hoping to take down The Bandits, who as of last week had a nice cushioned lead of 8.5 pts. This started to look scary for both teams, going into 4 round match play with the Sip it boys up by 2 points. Top 3 players deathstar SkyBlueBen and Art Vandelay had their worst scores of all 3 rounds and lost their 4th round matches, while TimB and zooby97 could only bring in a tie /2 pts for the team. Jeff hoosierhoops24 had a frustrating week, getting his first blob of the Season. Words of encouragement were sent from Flamsey to Jeff to show support, knowing he will bounce back.  inflames47 was the only other player who brought a full set of points (5) this week, and quickly reminded the hubby that he missed blobbing by 1 measly point. He was not impressed.  Inflames quickly reminded her teammates that she by know means deserves recognition and the stars of the Bandits were everyone but her. Mark horusphoenix by far, was the hero of the team this week for the Bandits, scoring a tidy -54 for all 4 rounds. 2nd Highest individual score of the week. We also thank Kie for subbing again this week and appreciate having him around.  Bourbon Bandits win 18-12 After week 2 they currently lead by 13.5 point overall. Coggins CRAKpots vs Dregs from the Kegs
After some serious intervention Coggins boys went sent to Betty Ford Clinic and required to attend classes to help them recognize their addictions and how dangerous driving can be while under the influence.
They knew they had a challenge facing the 3rd place team Dregs from the Kegs, who rather than snorting coke, preferred to lick the bottom of a barrel while listening to 'Get up Stand Up' by Bob Marley.
From the start this looked like the Crackers got their mojo back and were leading the Dregs by 4 points (11/7) after 3 rounds and started celebrating a bit too soon
Dregs made an amazing comeback in Round 4 Match play taking a well needed 6 points, after they were advised to drop that reggae music by some chick names 'SHARON'
Capt. Ken coggin66 was at his wits end hoping his team could somehow manage getting out of last place position.
Coggins CRAKpots and Dregs from Kegs ended up A/S
Have a great golf week, thanks to our Admins , our sub's who stepped in to help smooth the week over, and most especially to YOU folks. Regardless of how you game turns out, having you with us, makes us a complete family. We all have our good and bad days of golf, we all want to play our best, but when we don't, just remember this group would be incomplete without you. Stay Strong, Rock on.. and onward we go

Congrats to those who advanced to the Semi Final Match in It's a Knockout . Its as good as watching the Olympics to see who brings home the gold medal!

2 Week of the Bottom Up Results Oldie and Goldie courses Deathstar was on a roll again this week coming in first place with a -26 but there was some great competition out there.  You may be their undoing, but the forces are coming after you! I gave you a trophy last week, so no trophy this week, as I don't like to dust and they are cluttering up my bookshelf! ahhh just teasing you... but you can do the dusting from now on  2nd Place Award with an impress -19 goes to @ InThisStyle .. Job well done, I can see you can be a challenge in the coming weeks ![]()  3 place Award goes to non other than my favorite Ma$$hole, phannigan shooting -16 All I can say is that was 'Wicked pissa!'  Last but least , we have the player who regardless of score, managed to continue on for both rounds and not give up, even though his game was totally in the toilet with a +15 I admire your perseverance dear sir, lessangster.  Good luck in this week's events Par 3 courses, can either make or break your game
